I encourage everyone to change the bulbs in their climate control module. Can’t be afraid to fuck up during the learning process. Buy one from your local salvage yard and upgrade it. That way if you fuck up you still have your original.
Thought I would add to this, There’s a pretty easy way to make the light switch match as well. I found if you take and buy another set of these. Then rip the rubber off the original light switch. And then cut with a dremel the inside of the new style switch out pretty flush to the bottom. And sand the outside portion of the old switch and notch both ends of the straight piece on the original switch about a 1/8th inch. You can press the old switch right into the new style knob. But be careful as you test fit it’s super close and orientate it right as you test. Once you press fit it in it’s not coming out the original knob is pretty brittle. It just takes a little time but it looks perfect. Even lights up well!!
I have the same year truck. Mine is a z71 with a 6in lift and 35”. I like the mods you did to your truck I’ve done similar ones to mine. Truck looks so good without chrome. Keep up the videos.
@@gotcheese9163 the bumper (metal part) it’s the same in all versions, the upper plastic it’s from the 99-02 HD front end, and the lower valance from the Tahoe z71 and everything fits perfectly, everything it’s compatible between versions.

I put 03-07 button on my 01 when I fixed it all up several years ago. It’s better if you are trying to go chrome

That's a badass up grade going to do my 02 silverado. Think it will also work on headlight switch my match..
No I tried it. It’s a different knob bit pattern. But the diameter is perfect. Umm I’m working on it tho. So stay tuned . Thanks for the support
