As a kitchen and laundry appliance contractor for the last 30 years, I can definitively say Bosch is the best dishwasher on the market. I know the Miele is a good product as well. If you purchase a Kitchen Aid, be prepared to replace the circulation pump within the first 5 years of ownership, at a cost of $500+.
I concur with your assessment. Despite investing in a Miele G7566, I've found its cleaning performance to be notably inferior to my decade-old Bosch Ascenta. Notably, Miele's top and bottom racks exhibit commendable functionality, but the design of the middle rack leaves much to be desired. In comparison, Bosch's middle rack configuration proves significantly more accommodating. The dishwasher's corner coverage is a major drawback, rendering only the central portions of the middle and bottom racks practically usable. Disappointingly, the build quality of the Miele appliance falls short of expectations given its price point. The thin stainless steel used in the dishwasher tends to deform when the racks are retracted, and the stainless steel door emits an audible squeak with minimal movement. Adding to the dissatisfaction, Miele's Normal cycle falls short, lacking adequate water pressure for effective cleaning, especially for items deeper than a small tumbler. While the SensorWash cycle serves as a suitable alternative, it is noticeably loud and tends to leave grainy residue on dishes due to the absence of a prewash. Furthermore, Miele's overall noise level is considerably higher compared to other high-end dishwashers, except when running the Normal cycle. It's important to note that sound testing, conducted with the Normal cycle and sound gap fill materials installed, may not be practical for most kitchens, making the claimed 40 decibels sound level by Miele unlikely to be achieved in real-world scenarios. Regrettably, my experience with the Miele purchase has left me dissatisfied, especially considering the substantial cost of $2.7k. The overall quality appears to fall short when compared to a $500 Bosch dishwasher available at major retailers.
Does it have a water softener? Many European dish washers have them which washes dishes better and keeps away hard water spots away, stench, mildew and more importantly the dish washer will last longer with a water softener
Looking at these for our kitchen Reno as we want to upgrade to a Bosch with crystal dry. What I can’t understand is, how does the new lower spray arm design target 1 of 4 zones with different pressure on every rotation? Does it have a position sensor that kicks up pump pressure when it hits the target area?
So does the Bosch 800 with the new power control washing system and zeolite drying system now beat out LG Quad wash? Sounds like overall Bosch 800 is now better then the Kitchenaid of similar price range. Thanks for the update.
Has anyone actually tried to program or understand the operating instructions of this Bosch 800...absolutely arcane. I consider it a miracle when I actually get my Bosch 800 to run. It then washes quietly and well.
Ok thanks I got the bosch 800 1 month ago it works great just wondering if the power control washes the Pat's and dishes better if so better I have to buy it
Looking at the Bosch website at only the 800 series dishwasher, the model SHX78B75UC with the towel bar handle is slightly higher and has more cycles than the other 800s. Do you know if there is a similar featured Bosch 800 with the new power control washing system but has a pocket handle? Thanks much.

Never thought of it....But it must have a sensor per quarter or Bosch will be buying back a lot of broken china
The arm is motorized. So yes, the dishwashers knows where the spray arm is.

I think it is better....we just finished running tests, but LG is almost $400 less expensive.

Put a high-end Miele in our new reno, zero regrets and my wife is amazed by it's performance.
What I wanna kwn is it worth the upgrade? I have the previous version Mys don’t have the power control
I would never recommend buying a new dishwasher if yours is working and cleaning well.

Hey there, I would like to ask how often manufacturers introduce a new generation of dishwashers in general?
Its not like cars...There is no real cadence.
I got a new one today, maybe I am doing something wrong, but it is not drying well
Using rinse aid?
Excellent video ! parody of 80 s commercial? Love keys take away.

Bosch's rival is Miele and Bosch?
The enemy sometimes is ourselves.....darn it. Sometimes we miss the simplest things
So close to having the perfect overview comparison video ;D@@YaleAppliance1
