Tim's definitely underselling his skill. Every single early fold he made was really smart, and when he had a good hand he was really good at making small bets to keep players in while filling the pot. Luck's always a factor, but Tim's absolutely a killer poker player.
Tim and Masae. Tim is just a really calm guy. One time I was playing poker with my friends and one friend got two Royal flushes in a row. He was just that lucky.
Tim awesome I can speak for all of us and say we love you so much Tim. You're an amazing guy with a heart of platinum and gold. Also Masae this as an amazing series and we all enjoy the hard work you do.
I think the worst hand in Texas Hold'em is a 2 7, as neither really aids towards a straight and its a weak high. You are either betting HARD on the table for luck or bluffing to hell and back.
I was just about to post about this, but yeah, 2 7 Off-suit (both cards are of different suits) is the worst starting hand in Texas Hold 'Em. If they're both Suited (both cards are of the same suit), at least that contributes to a potential Flush.
To those who want to know more about Hold ‘‘em and other games in the lot but don’t know how to start, allow me to give you a little list from worst hand to best. Junk/High card: No matches Pair: 1 match of 2 cards 2 Pair: 2 matches of 2 cards 3-of-a-kind: 3 of one number/face card Straight: 5 cards of ascending value (Example: 10-Jack-Queen-King-Ace) Flush: 5 cards if the same suit (Example: 2-5-8-9-Queen. All diamonds.) In the event of 2 flush in one hand, the Flush that ends with the highest card is the winner Full House: 3 of a kind and Pair in a players hand simultaneously. (Example 3 aces and a pair of twos) 4 of a kind: 4 of one number. Straight Flush: 5 cards of ascending order all in the same suit Royal Flush: The hardest hand to get in the entire set. Ace-King-Queen-Jack-10 all in one suit. If playing with Wild Cards to mix things up, one hand will beat the Royal Flush and that is! 5 of a kind: any number of matching cards alongside the wild card(s) (Example: 9-9-9-9-wild card. 9-9-9-wild-wild or any variation) Now that you know how the card table works from lowest to highest go out there and have some fun. Also. To answer Tim and Masae’s question about the worst hand to have in poker at the start: 2 and 8, off suit. 2 and 8 are too far apart to get a straight with, and both cards are rather low on the board. Almost never worth sticking around, even if the hand is free.
Man, Tim bringing up Pogo is a blast from the past, my mom also used to play a bunch of games on there all the time. I would also go on there and play Pop It, Bookworm, and some other games I vaguely remember.
My GOD, Masae. A 4 of a kind on the first hand for Tim??? It's kind of amusing how Masae doesn't realize just how ridiculously rare a 4 of a kind is. LOL I've only gotten one in my entire lifetime, although I haven't played a lot as an adult. I played a lot of poker on the computer as a kid. My grandmother's house had a computer and a CD-ROM of a Hoyle card games collection that had "Poker" on it, and it was the most "classic" variation, 5 Card Draw. I think that's probably the easiest way to learn how the basics of poker work. By playing and watching a bunch of hands, I used this computer game to eventually become self-taught at poker at the tender age of 9. Yes, 9. I abhor the concept of gambling with real money, but I sure enjoyed this game. I conducted some probability experiments for my science class in 7th grade to see if the poker hand ranks were accurate (they were), and convinced my science teacher to allow me and some friends to play poker during a twice-a-week free period at my middle school. I learned Texas Hold'em by playing another Hoyle card game collection, this one called Friday Night Poker. Through this, I taught myself *13 different variations* of poker, with Texas Hold'em being one of them. The Dealer's Choice option exposed me to a massive variety of these games. It was incredible. I then taught my family and my grandfather, and we'd play 5 Card Draw or Texas Hold'em together whenever I visited him and begged to play. I even got myself a clay chip collection of official size to make it feel like genuine poker. I managed a Straight Flush when I was a child, and promptly freaked out and cheered for minutes on end. Thinking back to the (super old flip phone) recording of the moment playing in my mind, I sounded super cringey. But it was how I felt in the moment. LOL Dunno why I felt the need to wax poetic about poker, but here it is, for your reading pleasure. Thanks for bringing me some pleasant memories, Masae. On the off chance you'd like someone to try to give some insight on some basic poker strategy and principles, I'd be happy to try to give that to you, though I know you're busy.
the last time i played texas hold'em one of the rounds I had a flush, and when it got to the showdown everyone had a flush except for one and guess what? They had a royal flush. Like WTH my flush aint special when everyone else has flushes!

Tim: "If somebody has that ace, they're being a real genius right now."
Also Tim: _has that ace_
Well, this is off to a great start.
He certainly played me like a fiddle if I was sitting on that table.
I don’t really care for poker, but I love seeing these two friends have fun together
Tim and Masae. Tim is just a really calm guy.

That first hand is what we call an Ace in the hole.
I love the Clubhouse episodes, but this has to be the best one so far thanks to you allowing Tim to be in one!!

Did you see the ESA Marathon recently where they featured this game and they had a hard time beating Texas Hold' Em?
TIIIIIIIIMMM🎉
Funnily enough, I had sour cream and onion chips shortly before watching this video

I think Poker night at the inventory is more fun than this version of the game.
I swear that game is rigged
Hey there hello there hi 😊
