- Gorgeous views of the Decorah pair. Bonding ritual at 6:56. At video's end, 9:57, Dad's feathers flatten when his attention is caught by something. He flies to investigate followed by Mom. Many thanks to the camera operator & a nod of appreciation to RRP for this gift. Recorded at 1.25pm CST. Edited slightly to shorten.

Here I am, back again two years later (02/01/2015) looking on my timeline at facebook..I saved this video by RRP, because it was so awesome of this Eagle pair on N1, and I enjoyed watching again, today!
than you that was awesome
wow!! That was amazing to see! Thanks so much for sharing that and pointing that out! Incredible!
Amazeing gorgeous birds
This was so much fun to see! I never get to see "my" golden eagle nesting pair during their premating rituals, as we don't begin our nest monitoring until the chicks have hatched. I did get a glimpse of a pair of red-tailed hawks here at the house about a week ago. They were flying together, then one (probably the male) flew up higher above the other, then came down, lowering its feet, to touch the back of the other.
It was posted on RRP Facebook in October with a picture of just the beginnings of a nest. RRP Facebook has continued to post pictures of their progress and I was amazed at how fast they built it.
Thank you bellamaria :)
The eagle is my favorite animal.:D
I miss you my birdies !! :(
Excellent work. She was certainly happy when he came home
Tks
I wonder what put them on alert at the end
nice!!!
Hi RainbowChick. First egg in 2012 was on 2/17. In 2011 on 2/23. In 2010 2/25 & in 2009 (her first year) 3/3. It is still unknown which nest they will choose. Raptor Resource Project is observing them from the ground and will announce on Facebook as soon as they are sure.
You are welcome, scylla :) :)
Just a few more months Peter :) Thank you for watching.
There is no cam installed there Keith5Cats2. It was too late in the season to even try to intall one. Thanks for watching!
Waw...thank you for this videos, then I realize that we have to keep the harmony on earth, it is created not only for human kind but also for animals. God has created the perfect creation..
Yes, but not with the intensity of Fall 2011 when they worked a lot on the old nest. It's common for eagle pairs to have 2 nests. This male had another nest (with a different female) that was damaged in a storm. This nest was built in 2007. (Source; Raptor Resource Project)
lol! Thank for watching Jan.
:D
where would you get a remote-controlled camera like this?
When will we know if they are going to choose this nest or not? Didn't they lay eggs by this time last year?
I'm assuming if they choose the other nest we won't get to watch.....?
No see ya later, honey or anything! lol
Awsome but some parts bored me out
I found my Power Animal. He can subdue any Serpent. So in my dreams I need to fly with the Eagle and prey upon the serpents or whatever else needs to be preyed upon and it will be for the right reasons if I trust in God and my conscious.
