Brett is a legitimate threat to the game. I think he made the right choice taking time off to help him gain a little size and get where he needs to be.
I really like when Brett talks and is super humble about how extreme is prepped are. Such as when he just casually mentioned eating 240 G per meal. And Fouad is in disbelief when he realizes that it's a dry measurement. Haha or when he casually mentions adding 25 to 30 lb of pure State weight in two years when you're already at ifbb Pro Caliber
Really feeling for ben, just saw his IG stories. Also the segment on intensity techniques was really helpful and gave me a new perspective on how to implement certain sets and execute them properly. Always learning on this channel!
So much valuable information in this episode! I particularly appreciated Ben's clear explanation of the differences between a rest pause and a widow maker set. It also really clarified cluster sets for me. Thank you!
Realized how addicted I am to these conversations. Felt strong withdrawal symptoms because the podcast came a day late. Mixing deep conversations with fun banters, love the way you guys do it
Just got done with a long 12hr day on the pipeline now I get to listen to this all the way home then all the way to the gym. Love this channel Fouad! Please keep them coming.... oh and congrats Brett you looked amazing.
Not pulling the “I seen it first” stuff or bandwagon thing but I seen Bret Wilkin a year or so ago and was like what a freak! Now he’s on my favourite podcast and killing the open class. This is great 🤟🏼
Hey! I love watching your podcasts. It is more funnier and more interesting everytime. I have been watching your podcasts literally on a regular basis from a month now. Though I am not a bodybuilder but it is good to know so many things about bodybuilding and it's environment. Keep it up and please try to keep the videos more lengthy 😅 as I love the conversation you guys have in an every single podcast. I have now known a lot of things just by watching your podcasts. Loads of love from India ❣️❣️
39:00 (BCAA's from Japan = Ajipure (conpany is Ajimoto). Pharma grade as they're made from fermented vegetables/fruits in a lab VS. the hair follicles they're typically harvested from. Flavored individual packets are great, unflavored tastes like casein - absolutely. L-arginine is like a casein w/curdled milk.
Let’s all spare a moment for Ben who’s probably watching this with a burger in hand and a pile of shit in his trousers. Couldn’t think of a worse set of events for a prep man, thinking of you! (The imagine is burned into my skull now anyway…)
39:57 Unflavored hydro-casein was called pepto-pro and I know early on Biotest used it in their first versions of Plazma. It was rough lol. Beverly international still makes a tablet version and that is the only way I was ever able to consistently make use of it. EAA's might not be the tastiest supplement out there but compared to what some of this used to taste like we are VERY LUCKY these days. If you used anything in the 90's you know what I am talking about.
I'm pretty sure Fouad was right about rest-pause. Say you do a submaximal weight for rack pulls and you do 1 rep, rest for a few seconds, do 1 rep, rest, and keep going until you hit a pre-designated number of reps, that's rest-pause. If you do what Guy's talking about, where you designate X number of sets to failure with a given weight and short breaks between, that's a cluster set because you've "clustered" a pre-determined number of sets together, where as rest pause reps are about a pre-determined number of reps.
Fouad, the spoon of fork question is broken. On sushi rice you can easily do either cause it’s sticky. I wanna see some research going into how the type of rice affects the choice.
Fouad thank you for your Podcasts. You're shows have became my new favourite audio Podcasts at work. Please stick to questions and avoid rate the physiques. It's not the same with audio only!
On the straight vs rest pause, What do you think in this context - 3 straight sets to failure 2 minutes rest - let’s say 225 x 12,10,9 1 rest pause - 225 x 12-7-5 Your reaching failure 3 times. I believe the science says working within 5 reps from failure produces a stimulus that would build muscle. The closer to 0 reps from failure you get, the more stimulus but also more fatigue you cause. Most people can’t actually keep technique or mentally stay in a set all the way to 0 reps in reserve.
Great Podcast - As for WInklaar when it comes to size loss; let's not forget that the guy dieted down to compete at the Olympia (eventually did not because of Covid) and then when he thought he will go into a proper offseason he did not train for months because gyms were closed. In fact, as he said in an interview on Monday Night Muscle his initial plan was to compete towards end of August and not mid July. Fouad, would love to see him on the podcast. He is my favourite bodybuilder!!!
Everytime you watch the podcast don't forget to press like, they're taking out of their time to teach us new things you guys ,don't forget it's the least we can do
I eat pasta (with a spoon!). Absolutely hate rice. Only issue is finding pasta in bulk...especially where I live, finding a bag above 500g is extremely difficult.
Fouad, lol long time listener, first time caller. You’re thinking about Musashi. Sounds Japanese, but they’re out of New Zealand believe it or not. I used to take their entire line back in the late eighties early nineties.
01:06:00 Dennis Wolfe did have some neck surgery and I am assuming retired and then had a long time off training, so that would play a role. The other guys, to my knowledge, still trained in some capacity. Of course I am NOT a genetic elite but my "set-point" without training is much higher, 220, due to the years spent there and heavier.
Use code RBP5 to get $5 off your order at Magicspoon.com
Worst tasting supplement ever, many years ago I tried VPX NO Shotgun, apple flavour. Actually throw up disgusting. X10 worse than peptopro!!
My favourite part of the podcast. "Guy shows up"
He’s about to get fired.

Brett is an awesome addition to the podcast!

"Can we not talk about shit for a minute!?"--Fouad at least 4x per episode lolol
He literally said it as I read this comment😂😂😂
Really feeling for ben, just saw his IG stories. Also the segment on intensity techniques was really helpful and gave me a new perspective on how to implement certain sets and execute them properly. Always learning on this channel!
Get Roelly on!! If anyone can do it, it’s you!
Another great episode! Brett is a great dude! Thanks Mr. Fouad for giving a platform for people to get to know them better🧡🔥
So much valuable information in this episode! I particularly appreciated Ben's clear explanation of the differences between a rest pause and a widow maker set. It also really clarified cluster sets for me. Thank you!

Ben: “thats cute”

These acronyms 😂😂 “widow-maker, cluster, rest pause” I love Guy’s reaction to all of these.
Brett is dope af, Ben’s macros aren’t

This is the first time I’ve seen magic spoon sponsor a bodybuilder, and I think it’s such a good match
Or should the cereal be call Magic ....Fork?

As a weed smoker. I get excited when they smoke on screen. It cool to see that Fouad doesn't give them shit for it.
props to brett - cleaner lines imo than hunter and he doesn't come from a famous bb family
It’s not Hunters fault he comes from a famous bb family😂
@@epicon234lol hunter is still great but im saying its shocking wilkin came from zero
Yeah, he was losing a decent bit of size to Hunter, maybe in a year brettt wins that showdown
Not really imo. Think Brett of Maxx could've won that show
I love guys dramatic stories in every entrance 🤣
Keep Brett on Bro Chat
Dude my alexa went off when guy asked Alexa how old kai is lmao
Something about Brett. Very charismatic guy. Reminds me a lot of Bob Chicherillo.
More Brett Wilkin. ✊🏽
Brett needs to be a regular on bro chat!
It was nice to see the way you guys view and set up your training
Another great show guys! Nice edition of Brett as well.

Been waiting on this! Awesome addition with Brett!
Always end your 'one on one' online chats, you would never just walk away from someone in person.
Brett is really a great guy! I wish Ben all the best. Hope he feels better soon!
Nice to see Brett.
Wishing James a speedy recovery 👍
Really interested in the rest pause and cluster sets now sounds like a crazy blood filling pump!
Been waiting for Brett to be on and Ben is the GOAT
HAHA Ben's hit prep mode.... on fire this ep 😂😂😂
Brett with the cameo 👊

i always smoked while listening to this so this episode was extra dope
Let’s all spare a moment for Ben who’s probably watching this with a burger in hand and a pile of shit in his trousers.
Couldn’t think of a worse set of events for a prep man, thinking of you! (The imagine is burned into my skull now anyway…)
He said he dont watch them 🤷🏿♂️
Ha ha ha ha 😂😂😂😂😂😂
The first ten minutes, I felt like Ben just needed a hug. 🤗 🤣 Much love and respect from East Coast Canada! 🙏💪
Nice, now i get to watch it with my post workout meal after back&biceps

Fouad, the spoon of fork question is broken. On sushi rice you can easily do either cause it’s sticky. I wanna see some research going into how the type of rice affects the choice.
He hasn't written a post captioned "don't call it a comeback" yet so he can't be competing
I literally wait all week for these lol
It’s funny how excited I get for your new uploads
Fouad thank you for your Podcasts. You're shows have became my new favourite audio Podcasts at work. Please stick to questions and avoid rate the physiques. It's not the same with audio only!
Getting high to cope with prep was something I always questioned if I was the only one 😂 it does take the edge off
Favorite day every day when this podcast drops Fouad much love ❤️
You should try red lentil pasta . Super high in protein and fills me up
Ben looks good! Specs making a big difference
Ben’s reaction to every question about turning pro: 😧😥😢😢😢😢😢😢
Brett is a surprise to this podcast ! But tbh he fits good 👀
Love how much shit Ben gives Guy for being small, yet Guys won like 10 pro shows and Ben doesn’t even win npc shows

Fouad, would love to see him on the podcast. He is my favourite bodybuilder!!!
agree with guy, that danny pic is one of all time best BB shots ever
Thank god!!! Perfect Friday 👌🏼
If there was a nuclear war that killed everyone on Earth, guy would still manage to be the last one alive by being late
When I saw Bretts podcast I was going to comment get this man on the podcast! But you beat me to it
so true about strawberry flavour, used to be the big three, choc, van, straw.
Brett is a good add-on, fits in great, and I’m ordering Magic Spoon....thanks you all for always making me laugh.
Brown Rice Pasta is unmatched!!
Amazing chat again
Everytime you watch the podcast don't forget to press like, they're taking out of their time to teach us new things you guys ,don't forget it's the least we can do
Ohhhh fkkkkk yeaaaa.....here we goooooooo.... #getchumsomeodat
1:18:57 if he’s being trained by Matt I got pretty damn high hopes lol. Matt seems to be killing it in the coaching game lol
I assume you mean that literally?
Plz get Brett back on so humble down to earth and speaks great. Future great of the sports too
One of the guys providing quality information...
Guy... "LISTEN TO ME! IM HERE! LISTEN TO ME GUYS! I HAVE STUFF TO SAY TOO!"
Brett is a cool ass dude. Easy to root for
Fouad loves his shit… and I wipe sitting down from the front because I’m a lazy ass….. anyone else LMAO 🤎
Let’s go Brett 🙏
Just in time for saturday meal prep time😁💪🏼
I eat pasta (with a spoon!). Absolutely hate rice. Only issue is finding pasta in bulk...especially where I live, finding a bag above 500g is extremely difficult.
“THROW THE TEN BACK IN”🤣🤣🤣
Guy and being late, name a more iconic duo
If he doesn't come back I'm holding this show personally responsible 😆
Classic physique and 70s to early 80s are completely different physiques not to be compared imo
Brett is such a nice guy 🙌🏼
Brett Wilkin is a real ass bodybuilder! Put some respek on his name!!
The magic spoon ad got me lmfao
49:00 you're not supposed to rack the weight during a widowmaker set. You just take as much time as possible to get to the desired reps
Just in time for my lunchtime walk! Let’s goooo
Never go this long again between bro chats !!!!!!
The Labrador RTD in Strawberry 🍓 taste Amazing!!!!just thought I would share 😁
1:16:08 you guys possibly thinking about “Concussion” for the will smith movie?
Guy said like a whole pack of big league chew 🤣
Fouad, lol long time listener, first time caller.
You’re thinking about Musashi. Sounds Japanese, but they’re out of New Zealand believe it or not. I used to take their entire line back in the late eighties early nineties.
PLEASE KEEP BRETT IN BRO CHAT!!! HES A GREAT FIT!!!!!!!!!!
Post workout beer and bro chat, life's good
