Ha! That was good!
They say the secrets in the sauce
The secret is the meat. Never skimp on the meat
@@racerealistjoker2516 Remember human meat taste alot like pork but stringier like cat. When chainsawing the human body cut across the muscle grain. Cut lengthways on a limb/// the muscle fiber raps on the saw sprocket and requires saw disassembly and cleanup which is a bloody mess.. Wood chippers gives you a end product much like hamburger.
I'm sure Calvin (RIP) is smiling down knowing you two thought his BBQ was the best!!! Pop took me to see Texas Chainsaw Massacre when I was 5 in 1980, Mom was not so happy about that, Haha
+mountainman530 what was your dad thinking!
I think that was before they had ratings, well until Mom made her own when we got home!! I turned out good and I'm in the same line of work as you :) GF and I enjoy watching your videos!!!
mountainman530 that's not true, ratings PG and R were avalible since the 1950s
@@mountainman530 they did have ratings & it was "X" in 74 they didn't have the PG13 & it was "X" cuz of the mind fuck and the "Gore"& the 2nd didn't come out tell a little over 10yrs later and it was "R" so they had ratings I'm just not sure what year they changed the rating on them! When you went to see it was it just at some places that played old movies?? Cuz I don't know of any Chainsaw that was released in 80?😁
You are a kind man Jacob. My sympathies to Calvin's family and friends. It's a good reminder to live each of our days to the fullest, we never know when it will be our last...God Bless Bud
Thanks for the video. Sad to hear about Calvin, but isn't it strange how that was the one place the two of you gave such great reviews? I bet that made Calvin very happy and brought a big smile to his face and warmth to his heart. The family will also be able to watch your videos and remember. Sometimes those little things mean the most. R.I.P. Calvin !
R.I.P. Calvin. May your legacy live on every time we watch Jacob and Adam's vlog about your delicious BBQ.
Very shocking news especially since you and Adam went on about how amazing his BBQ brisket was and it was your favorite. What a great tribute to Calvin. I hope the owner will carry on and can repeat the same quality of BBQ. Great vlog Jacob!
You are a very kind and compassionate person jacob. Thank you for sharing your world and ventures with us. Sad that Calvin passed away but at least you got to try his wonderful cooking and enjoy his establishment. Prayers go out to the entire family and to you. Safe travels my friend. God bless and keep bagging carpet where ever you go.
I was so sorry to hear Calvin had passed away, and you were very lucky to have met an angel on earth sending love and hugs to his family and to you and Adam x
It sounded like Calvin was a great guy. So sorry for the family.
I'm glad I'm a Texan
thanks for showing some respect to my favorite childhood movies. your videos kick ass dude.
Thank you for letting us know about Calvin. May he rest in peace. Condolences to his family and friends.
Did someone say, "Atari?" Haha, that game is hilarious! Probably the first game ever where you play as a murderous chainsaw-wielding maniac!
Atari is a game console lol
The game was hilarious his chainsaw looked like a penis. All you did was chop up random pixels
I've been keeping up on your Texas trip with Adam. So sad to here about Calvin. That was a highlight to watch for me, love bbq.
I watch and love all your videos, Carpet, but this one was near the top !! I'm a big fan of all the Chainsaw movies, remakes and of course Texas BBQ so I really enjoyed watching it. Thank you so much and our best wishes to Calvin's family. He must have been a GREAT cook and businessman
So sad, RIP Calvin
I could tell he had the best bbq
Thanks for the video Jacob
Aw man, im binging on your videos right now on a Sunday night. Im now subbing to you dude 😎. Keep on travelling.
Just went there today. Good food, good time.
adding all three of these places to my bucket list, if I ever end up in Texas I gotta go and eat at all three places.
I'm a huge fan of horror movies.
You are a class act Jacob ! Rest easy Calvin ! Life is to short ! Enjoy every moment you can !
Jacob, I love that you care as much about the people you meet as you do about making the video. You're a good man Jacob. People may have come to your site by seeing you in other peoples videos but they stayed because you are sensitive, kind and real. You are and will always be my favorite UA-camr. Thanks for your hard work. R.I.P. Calvin and God Bless those who loved you.
So cool you and Adam got to enjoy the best brisket before it was no longer available . Condolences to his family and friends.
yes, awesome location man. I've always wanted to visit this place. I have a trip planned to Kansas this year and we are swinging through here.
+Strange World Archives stay the night!
holy crap to Jacob that was fantastic hilarity! A bit of slapstick humor to liven up the night, well done!
Love your vids Jacob!
Looks like sliced wonder bread is a trend in texas ! Great vid one of my fav flicks
Bagger been watching you on the Woo channel new you had one as well watched a few now subscribed to your channel. Keep up the good work👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Scott&Lou XoX Same here.
AAAAH, JAKE! Ya didnt contact me! Lol, well at least ya found it. Shrine to Cash because the name Mean Eyed Cat is his song. Oh, the original house in Kingsland also has BBQ! I knew Bilbo and didnt know he just past.
Great video, Bagger!!
Pronounced by a Texan is bastrop as in bas as in bass fish and trop as in hop
I lived in Texas about 30 miles from the gas station, and I went by there a couple of times. It had been abandoned for several years and was in very dilapidated condition. The sign on it at that time was still "Bilbo's". Hopefully someone else will continue cooking so they can continue the tradition.
really enjoyed watching this
RIP Calvin.
Awesome video. That's crazy that they made a figure based on the Atari version of Leatherface
Nice words for Mr Calvin
Would love to do that kind of road trip! Thanks Jacob.
now its 9:32pm here and I'm starving for your BBQ dinners... omg cruel people hahaha. wonderful video. x do me a favor Jacob. . every time you happen to come across a doll anywhere on any of your journeys. shout me out. that would be awesome :)

I was hoping to get down there this summer, wanted to stay there and try the bbq, thanks for sharing
God bless Calvin! great video!
Kingsland Texas has the house used from the first chainsaw massacre movie, it was moved there.
RIP to Calvin. I got the connection with the Cash aesthetic and shrine with the restaurant's name, it's from a song of his titled "Mean Eyed Cat"
So cool!!
Love Texas Chainsaw Massacre!!
This is bucket list place for me. :)
I was thinkin the same thing !! I hope I can remember the other 4 resturants.
SleepAwayCamp dig it, most definitely for me also! Btw love your name, it's a horror classic!
So wait- here’s the question I’ve been wanting to ask you. Are you a BOY or a GIRL? Because.. from the movie.. you looked like a girl buuuuut...
2:38 when it's served with white bread and looks like you fixed your own plate at a cookout, you knows gonna be good! The best BBQ comes on styrofoam plates with white bread slices.
Great video! Thanks for sharing!
Sounds like a huge compliment considering you live in North Carolina which is known for some very good bar-b-que as well. My condolences to his family.
Love you Jacob. ❤
it's really great that they fix that old gas station up. I went there about 4 years ago and it was totally trashed. but it was totally recognizable. My friend and I talked about things that could be done with it and then I read online that a horror movie fan from the Midwest bought it. Pretty cool what he did with the place.
Betcha that gas station is CRAZY during Halloween.
love it! You and Adam the Woo are the best!
It'd be interesting to see all the horror villains up against each other. But from the decades they were made in. Like Freddy vs chuck vs Jason vs who ever else came out in that decade. Not a horror movie fan so I can't really give a great description of who the characters are but it'd still be interesting to see who'd win.
After watching this last year we went here and we stayed in the same room so funny!!! If you have not been to this location in Bastrop Texas you need to go check it out the barbecue is good the atmosphere is good and the people are wonderful!!!
I now want BEEF for supper!!!
RIP Calvin.... watched everyday. You two were great together. Sorry to hear.
Nice video man. -dude from south Texas
Yea!!! Can't wait till you get 50,000 sub's !! 👌👏🙌

Very sad to hear about that man Calvin passing away his memory will be that he made some of the best bbq 👍👌and was a very friendly person. Loved all those spots as well very cool glad u made it home safe God bless
Jacob has my dream job 😍....
You worked hard!
So sorry to hear of the passing of Calvin. Both you and Adam praised his brisket. Hope he knew how much the two of you enjoyed it. My condolences to Calvin's family and friends.
I had no clue this existed. I must go. So cool:) the bbq looked good too:)
Do u have contacts in that?
thank you nice work, sad at end but you and adam were lucky you got to eat the best of the best before it was gone....
I love watching u cool dude
I like that song at 9:52 it reminds me of something you would hear in a Dukes of Hazzard episode.
I'm from Bastrop! We pass this gas station on the way to San Antonio sometimes. For future reference, lol, it's Bas (like the fish) and trop (like stop) = Bastrop
We love ya CB.
Pretty cool! Tfs!
great job
Huh, I think I have that same Willis Tower plastic model at 10:31. It was from a machine at a museum, IIRC.
Also, the barbecue place had a bit of a shout-out in the controversial Next Generation sequel, where for some unexplained reason their last name was changed to Slaughter. One of them was a W. E. Slaughter.
Mr. Bilbo made some awesome BBQ!!!
Been to the Cele Store. And to Bastrop Tx gas station , Awesome places
Awesome combo togather !!!! Im in Texas,BOOOOOOOOOOOO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I definitely want to visit there
Good job
I don't think the O is long but it's all good. Bastrop and Cedar Creek are great. I used to spend a lot of time out there because my friend lived in a cabin in the woods off Highway 21. It was awesome. if you go a few miles up the road to Smithville you can find DJ screw's grave. not sure if that interests you. I'm not really a fan myself but it's pretty need to see because it's totally fanned out with trinkets. Very hard to find also. The GPS showed me driving in the middle of nowhere when we were going down the Farm roads to find Cunningham Cemetery
it's really great that they fix that old gas station up. I went there about 3 or 4 years ago and it was trashed.
maybe 4 texas chainsaw bbqs, if they sell bbq food at the original house restaurant lol.
1974 location must have been more rural during the 70s and not so isolated anymore. i think filming in the original location would have improved some of the sequels. if say part 3 was filmed there. obviously the house is gone, but that hill leading up to the house and the surrounding areas, then again Texas has probably developed a lot since then and all that area is probably buildings and no more rural countryside.
Oh nooooooooo, well, he did get a really cool send off! Rest In Peace Calvin.
You've survived the BBQ tour was fun with Adam.
So cool you checked these places out! Have to correct one thing - Bastrop is pronounced like “bass drop”. There’s also a place in Louisiana with the same name, but that is “bassed rupp” I think.
wow I live right down the road from both the 1st and 2 on lamer I been to the second one to eat the food there is so good never knew where the othere ones where till now thanks from Austin tx buddy 78704
I think its kinda interesting that the most well known restaurants and the ones that end up becoming chains don't always actually have the best food. I've never been to a Stubbs, but I do like their bbq sauce you can buy at the grocery store. I guess sometimes location or other things are more important than the food.
Your the Best 100%
