i’ve been listening to rock music for over 50 years (i was listening to The Who in 1st grade) and i think Pau may be my favorite drummer right now. both artistically and technically, she really is world class.
She is up there for sure. I think she might be one of the best on the planet right now Absolutely kicks ass.

I'm old, but I've seen everybody except The Beatles and Elvis. I've seen the Rolling Stones, Michael Jackson, James Brown, The Beach Boys, even Sinatra. I was present at the cheesy local show in Los Angeles when the totally unknown Linda Ronstadt performed for the first time ever [stunning BTW]. These girls are good, I mean REALLY GOOD. Already probably the best all-female rock group ever, and moving up the line quickly.
I'm 67. Thank you girls for taking me back to my youth. Rock on and rock hard!

The Warning went out for a picnic, a much needed day off. They were meeting Billy Squire but he was late. They run into The Pixies trying to catch some fish. Ale wants a snack so they all go, and who's working none other than Matt Bellamy, he hooks em up but tells them they gotta meet his boss. Frank Zappa introduces himself, the girls thank him but ain't sure what to make of this wild dude. On the way back to their spot, Ric Emmett, Geddy Lee and John Bonham are hanging out and notce Dany dropped something. It was her homework and Pat and Neil's dog Axl ran up and ate it. The girls didn't really give a shit because they already memorized it. Eric Carr recognized Pau and said hello, while Steve Harris asked Ale if she went to school with his daughter. Dany was ready to go when Ian McKay asked Dany if she liked Minor Threat, or Fugazi. She politely responded that she had not heard them but she would check them out. After a long day at the beach where the girls also met Don Henley, Jon Bon Jovi (eww) Lemmy, and the dude's from Clutch, they went back to The Warning Cave and wrote Dull Knives (Cut better) and practiced it until they could all play it blindfolded. It was a good day for The Warning, but it was a great day for us

Its funny how something got in the lead singers eyes in the final part and she spent a couple of minutes singing with one eye closed till the song ends haha. Very catchy song, cheers from Brazil.

I love how Ale's thundering bass comes to the forefront in this. I think sometimes in the future she will be said to be playing "lead bass" ala John Entwhistle of The Who.

Well this is a rehearsing studio , everything there is raw , in a concert the sound engineer can balance things up and add some effects on voice and guitars or drums if is necessary and it would sound huge and bad ass , but this is the real thing and this girl's Rock !!!

As I commented somewhere else just now, with Pau and Ale in the mix not having as much guitar as in the studio isn’t a problem.

These chicas are so dang confident!!! They go live and raw, right after their premiere of their studio production! That's like a chick showing up without her makeup, fake eyelashes, colored contacts, fake nails, fake eyebrows, wig and false teeth! LOL. AWESOME!
Cool girls oh yesssssss
I'm very impressed with how Dany handles the vocals in this live version. The vocal line in the chorus of the song takes an insane amount of breath control when the notes are ascending in the vocal run of the chorus. During a live show I would place this song to be done near the beginning so as to not be tired or out of breath when attempting these rather acrobatic type vocals that the chorus of this song demands.
And she does it well doing essentially the same with her guitar. Just damned amazing.
Ale sings for 3 seconds and it makes my day.
