@@jamesthornton-ei9fc Either Escape the Mind (EP, in 2016) or XXI Century Blood (2017). They were certainly playing professionally at that time. They weren't professional in 2014 yet. The 2021 version of Enter Sandman isn't on any The Warning album (it's on the Blacklist, but for The Warning it was a single).

Keep in mind they were signed onto Lava Records not very long before this performance. In this virtual music festival they were not only performing for their fans, but also music industry elites, music legends, their musical heroes (Lzzy Hale) and their peers. It was absolutely a performance they needed to nail, and boy DID THEY EVER!
Someday they should put out an entirely live version of the Queen of the Murder Scene album. The studio version of this song is great, but this take is the best.

Something well worth mentioning here is we should all be eternally grateful to the parents of these amazing girls. The gigantic sacrifices they had to make in both personal lives and the obvious financial sacrifices is a major factor to why these girls are where they are today.
I think a fair number of their instruments were donated, I know each of them had some donated. Your overall point is correct, their parents recognized something special early on and supported them, and for sure there had to have been sacrifices on their part.
holydado I don’t know what their father did or does for a job but I did hear that he was in some way in politics locally to Monterrey. I really have no idea but no matter what it’s a big job the parents are doing now. Let’s not forget all the patrons with the money given and as you mentioned the instruments

You were born too late to explore the world, you were born too early to explore the universe. But you were born just in time to enjoy The Warning as you watch their growth on their path to becoming future rock legends.
I swear The Warning Cave is like a magical place. Can you imagine how many thousands and thousands of hours they've been working right there in that space, perfecting their craft? It just continues to blow my mind and make my heart feel so full. Thank you DPA.

I'm 53 yrs old, been a rocker since discovering KISS at 9 yrs. Love and seen every band live from AC/DC to ZZ Top and I tell you these ladies have it! One the best, most talented bands to come onto the scene in quite a while.

Melodic, powerful and intense..... as a drummer of over 40 yrs and a recent guitar player I love your songs and your style.....insane double kicks at the end and everything just builds! I could watch this 1000 times and still love it

Probably the best vocals I have heard from them - Dany is just on fire (with guitar too) and Ale is so strong (really getting over that tentativeness with her voice). Pau is Pau, she nails this song every time, but even she’s incredibly intense here. I think they all were thinking “this is it guys we are going to show the world”

Just discovered these very talented women a few weeks ago and I must say, it’s only a matter of time before they’re playing in arenas. They’ll have a following that large once they play some more festivals and get their name out there

Only other drummer I know who brings that much charisma to the stage is Jukka from Nightwish, and he's not touring any more. I feel I'll be watching documentaries in my old age about how The Warning started.

Great, that you mention it! I also see parallels to him. He plays a lot of rather unconventional rhythms, that blend so perfectly with the music, that you don't realize it until you actively listen for it. Pau is the same. That makes the songs enjoyable and easy to listen to, while still making them interesting and sounding "new", not as if you have heard it a thousand times before in the last three decades. 😁👍

I have been watching this video (and all the other The Warning videos) for weeks now and it just struck me with this one that Ale is so tall and willowy that she could very easily become a model in her "off" hours. They are all beautiful and so talented but with her features she is a natural. But PLEEAASSEE don't stop playing- you ladies are the best and I love you to death!!!

Julio Caesar It is. I watched the whole show along with several others from TWA. Lzzy joined the chat for the last hour and was active. During the final act she dropped that little nugget and the chat exploded.
Julio Caesar The Warning Army was out in full force and DPA were mentioned continuously during the entire 10 hr live cast. In fact they were they only act who got a replay. It want just TWA who was posting about them, there were many names I did not recognize chatina about them. Many new people were blown away and they haven’t seen anything yet. Then out of the blue Lzzy dropped that bomb and things went crazy again. The chain reaction has started and there is no way to stop it now. TW is about to go nuclear. So proud of DPA, Luis, Mony, Rudy and the extended Warning family. You all rock 🎸!

Julio Caesar They were asked to pre record only one song as it was scheduled that way. Judging by the quality of the video and audio production, I really doubt there would had been any chance to record one more song. I’ve been guessing the way this song was recorded, maybe they sent a pre mixed audio in multi track format and then the people at (De)Tour did the mastering or maybe they recorded together audio & video and sent it for mastering or maybe they got a professional engineering team specially for this occasion to do all the job at The Warning’s cave in Monterrey. Patreons will know this first. Either way this version of Dull Knives is a masterpiece and will go viral second to their cover of Enter Sandman. 😉👍🏼 Viva The Warning! ⚡️😎⚡️🤘🏼
