Hai doc, i was practising in my homecountry for 3years and then last year I came to Australia.. now I'm preparing for my adc written exams...and I'm working in am entirely different industry right now... even if I clear the exams, for the registration process is it necessary to meet certain CPD hours?? I found that around 40hrs of CPD is necessary if we are not working in dentistry for around 2 years and more... so how do I get that?? Can non registered dentists do CPD here in Australia while preparing for adc exams? Or is it after the written aNd practical exam usually everyone gets their CPD hours met?? I don't have any contacts here in our field to whom I can clarify this with.. could you please reply? Thank you.
Once you pass ADC only then your CPD starts to count. So once you pass ADC you need to do 60 hours during your first 3 years of working as a dentist in Australia. 40 clinical and 20 non clinical.
