After high school I'm joining the marines I will be going into force recon I will do whatever it takes to pass I don't quit I never quit
Matthew West As an active and currently deployed 0311, don't join with that as an expectation. Its great to have aspirations and goals and you can work towards it, but you have to be humble enough to understand thats a very monumentous order. Join the infantry first and go through a deployment before you try out. You'll get a better idea of the life, expectations of the units, and the caliber of people that are in them. Alot of the guys I went in with had the same goals. All of them either gave up or decided it wasn't for them. If you think its a good fit go for it, try out. Just remember, IF the time comes and you decide to try, nobody gives a fuck about your career but you. You will have to make things happen yourself and be willing to handle the backlash from your peers and chain of command. Believe it or not they will all turn their back on you simply because you actually have aspirations instead of just trying to skate through your enlistment like them.

BravoSixZero Maverick They have always used M81 to blend in with local troops that they train, such as Afghan troops and Kurds in Syria.
Crye and Drifire make their M81 G3's specifically for MARSOC, its extremely rare to see them don Marpat. Being that they have the SOCOM budget they get to run all the fancy kit.
The only time you'll really ever see them use Marpat is stateside for training, they deploy they run M81.
