+Colin G Actually no. It was used by the SS, but they didn`t invent it. It called Husaren Totenkopf and was first worn by cossacks and husares during the 30 year war. It`s the symbol of resistance towards a numerically superior force and iconic for the prussian and germanic resistance to Napoleon`s army. It doesN´t as most ppl believe symbolize death, but actually means to become a `totenkopf`this means to act as fearless and brave for a higher cause as if you and your ego were already dead.

not really anything specific, my father used to guide a few dutch boats around that area from Curacao, but most of the time the operations were coöperated with america and others around the carribean area.

Zum G36 - ich hatte es im Einsatz - immer gut !!! Nie Versagt - das was geschrieben bzw. berichtet wurde ist alles von der Politik erlogen - logisch das ein G36 beim 5-6 Mag. auf Vollauto anfängt zu sprayen. Aber im Feuerkampf auf 300-500m schiesst man damit ruhig und präzise, Schuss für Schuss Gegner für Gegner...

German Special Forces are just a Training force they are never been in combat and without combat no experience. The convention after world war 2 do not allot them to operated outside a Training area. So I say they are no up to the Task to be an world Special Force.

+Support German Troops Yes as Support Units but we were the one that has done everything and the one with the casualties. I was in most bof those places since 1985 and I never saw a german Special force member. Maybe I am wrong but I never saw one.

German forces were there and are there, but not as support units.
The Mali mission (EUTM) for example is under german controll.
In Afghanistan died 1 german ksk operator just a few months ago.
+Support German Troops Probably you are right I never was in Mali, but I was in Afghanistan in the 80´s and in Somalia like I was in Sinai, Beirut, Kosovo ,Kuwait and Irak. And on thoses places I have never seen a member from the German Special Forces. I had seen SAS, Frenchs, Israelis, even Russians but not Germans. I was in an Special unit from the USA for almost 12 years.

I'm Australian I love all the SF and our SAS, but I was brought up on how the Germans are, they like pain, have no fear, come from a warrior race, and they are smart, I'm glad they are on our side.

I mean we arent the bigest army, not a expensive one, but we know how to use our equipment. In my mind we are not that much but thats ok. we are well trained.

What if NATO got a standardized camo or uniform and if NATO went to war with ISIS then all soldiers would be under a NATO uniform but on their side they wore thief nations flag so you could see what country they're from. That would be epic.
