見終わったら泣いていた。。。映画一本見た後の感覚。すばらしい
小学生の時3DSで聴いてたこの曲を社会人になった今スマホで聴いてるの感慨深いな……
What is this based off? It's really interesting

The song is called "Feathers across the seasons" for myself and others who can't read japanese. The song is a vocaloid song, originally sung by Len Kagamine and Rin Kagamine. This is my favorite version of this song; I found it very beautiful.
To add more details: the song is based on a Japanese tale, where a man rescued a crane, and thus, the crane turned into a human and married the man. She promised him wealth, if he did not look at her while weaving the finest silks. Her husband promised not to do so, but he got too curious and one day went into the room. He then found out that his wife was the crane he rescued back then, and saddened that he found out, she left and never returned.
In this version, its kinda different. Len rescued the crane, who then turned into a woman and appeared before him. They married and lived a happy life. He first praised her beautiful singing voice, for which she asks him "if I lose by beautiful voice, if I can't sing anymore, would you still love me?" where he assured her that he'll still love her. After time passes, Len falls sick, and Rin uses her feathers to weave cloth in order to earn enough money to buy the medicine for her sick husband. Len later says that she got beautiful hands, in which she asks "if my hands are no more beautiful, would you still love me?" and again, he replied with yes and assured his love. He then sadly dies, and Rin sings one last line "if I'm not a human anymore, would you still love me?" not expecting a reply, as her beloved died. Though he replies one last time "of course I'll love you, as I loved you before and in the future" and tells her she'll always be beautiful for him, since the day he saw her as a crane

In another comment section, it says this song is based on traditional folklore that is taught in the Japanese school system-and that the story in this song is different than the one in schools. I have no idea whether that's true or if someone just made that up (I have seen people make things up quite a bit on youtube).
@@euthyphro8064 that is true. The song is based on the story of the crane. It is similar, but the man did not die in the folklore, but the crane in human form told her husband not to come and see her when she is working. One day the curiosity got the better of him, he saw his wife in her crane form, and that's when she had to leave forever. I figure this would be too sad, as this version is more romantic and hints for everlasting love. Kind of similar to Disney movies, they're basically made more romantic and such. But what I explained was basically the song version, which I do prefer to be honest

En resumen: La chica era una grulla en realidad. Para comprar la medicina para su marido, la chica usaba sus plumas de grulla para crear diversas telas y venderlas (imagino que eran bastante caras o algo así), pero el dinero no es suficiente para curar a su marido, y ella termina utilizando hasta la última de sus plumas en la desesperación por salvar a su esposo.

人によって捉え方は多種多様なのでそれも一理あるのでしょうが…私は本人（ボカロ）の歌い方よりもこっちの方がしっくり来るんです。
曲を作っている方も高評価だけではなく多少マイナスな意見も聴きながら｢じゃあこうしてみようかな…。｣なんて考えながら良い曲を作ってるんだと思いますよ？
