1) as a CFS girlie who also needed help putting that table together... It is a beast, but it is a GREAT table! 2) on the second nightstand, visually, I think it wants something with a little height, like a taller lamp, books arranged vertically, a flower vase or a snake plant... Functionally, what do you use it for? Maybe you didn't actually even need it. But if you think you do, the one thing that has revolutionized my bed days is having a small sewing basket and small sewing project at hand. It's just a little basket with duplicates of a few tools (scissors, pin cushion, needle, etc) and a project (usually a stuffed animal). I only use it in bed, either when I can't sleep or can't get out of bed.
Hi Elinor, I own the "Norden" table too, maaaaany years. It's great with the storing units, the folding is great for small places and it's very stable, as you mentioned. I painted the fronts of the drawers white, it's a nice contrast. Btw eventually it's good for your health (with the mold problems) to stay no longer in the rented house. But it's sure not easy living with parents again - I understand that you wanted to change your old room. I wish you luck with finding a new home, the rental market where I live is crazy, too.
You could maybe get something like a (pink) salt lamp on that empty side cupboard that you are asking about. Combine it with the smart plug thingies so you can turn it on or off using your phone. They are pretty and although their effect is not really proven they LOOK nice which is kind of the point :D
Such a lovely makeover! As a relatively new CFS patient, it’s great to watch you get things done yourself but also asking for help when you need it. (I still struggle with the latter.) Also, your dress is very pretty, all your outfits are! You inspired me to wear more than tracksuits again if I have the energy. 🫶🏻
El it’s so lovely to see you back and the room now looks so comfy. You’re so talented with sewing! I’d love to ask where the board is from? Is it Ikea? Hope you’re doing well 🩵🥄
The folding table is a great idea, but it does seem a bit low. I guess it’s designed specifically for crafting. I have one of those peg boards too but have never put it up. The cushions look gorgeous.
I'm so happy for you!!!❤
Your place is adorable and very feminine and cottage style. Love that table. You’re such a cutie and sweet. Happy new year to you.
Definitely looks a lot prettier and happier now. Great job! I love house/ room makeover content :D
Really nice! Brighter and happier. Great job!

Those frilly cushions are so pretty!
