The colour grading on this video is beautiful. You are doing well to show what is capable on the XH2S. Lots of folks are worried about the things like the image being too sharp on the XH2S and are deciding not to get it for that reason. So it would be truly useful if you would share a bit more about your workflow and how you are achieving this glory as there are many that want to learn from you. Some questions I have is are you using a particular commercial lut on this footage? Did you use a diffusion filter? Is this FLOG2 or FLOG? Please do share with us 🙏. Really great work.
Thanks! Tropic Colour Vintage Lut Pack - Marlyn is the lut i used with some tweaks to the greens. Shot in FLOG 2 however I've recently switched to HLG to test that out for a bit and I am preferring that. I shoot with a Black Pro Mist 1/4 on also which lifts the blacks and softens the image slightly.
Top job....looks amazing and the videography and editing look first class to me. Are you a solo shooter....seems to be so much material for one person? 👍👍👍
Amazing!! i have a XH2 but haven't tried FLOG2 yet lol this is perfection in my eyes with your colorgrading and the cinematics!! keep it up! oh yeah one question: handheld?
Great Job It was definitely one of the best images I have seen from Fujifilm XH2s Did you use autofocus? I love Fuji pictures, it is undoubtedly one of the best on the market My only reason not to migrate to Fuji There is concern about autofocus performance
What framerate is this? I'm guessing 1204k? It's showing "stats for nerds" that you exported on a 24fps timeline. Correct? If so, what % did you slow the footage down to acheive this smooth look? Thanks - i loved watching this and i've never seen these people in my life, which means you've captured my attention very well. Cheers
Cheers, it's shot 4k 120fps. I shoot all intra for 120fps so it's already slowed down so I don't have to modify / interpret the footage to 23.796 like I would for my 60fps footage.
Nice thanks for the info - I'm going to test the Intra vs longGOP for 4k120. I wonder if it will introduce ghosting and artifacts for shots like you have here in this video... Any experience on that? If you would be so kind 😁😁@@jpvideokent
Can't say I've played around much, always shot the 120 like that on XT3 so I just kept it the same aha, I've messed up a few times with the shutter speed being /120 instead of /250 and it's not too bad but noticable for anyone with experience@@SamBrownMusic
The safety wide is Sony A6300 which I've got to unlimited record limit, as I can't get to the back to reset the xt2 30 min limit in churches. The tele shot from the back is Xt3 which stops after 30 mins but is usually just for the groom reaction shot.
@@jpvideokent you use manual focus/ touch to focus all the time? isnt face tracking autofocus? im a little confused, do you use auto focus or contious focus all the time?
im using the canon m50 mark ii as my B cam, can you help me with the settings? how do we set up the b cam for weddings is it just manual focus ? im a solo shooter so im worried it will go out of focus while im away.
easiest way is to manual focus, stop down aperture, and set a mark for groom to stand and focus to that and hope for the best. Aperture at like f4 should have a fairly big focus area so it should stay in focus.
Love the color grading and video looks amazing. 😍 How is the performance of Sigma 50-100mm paired with XH2S? Are you using it with autofocus with that lens? I have the Sigma 18-35mm f1.4 and I love it but I can't decide if I'll get this Sigma 50-100mm f1.8 or the Fujifilm 50-140mm f2.8. Hope you can enlighten me 🙂 Cheers!
Yo, cheers! I would say it works good, it can be a little slow occasionally, but overall seems good. It has a big focus breathing issue but never affects me as I don't pull focus much and it's huge - 1.5kg. The extra light and bokeh is definately noticable going from f2.8 to f1.8. Tough decision make!
@@jpvideokent do you rely on the afc? Or manual focus? Great work man... Top notch.... I get my camera tomorrow, I have that same lens and filter, can't wait to see what comes off it
@@Las_cacas I am on gimbal all day even with the sigma 50-100 (balances on the feiyu ak4500) and yeah autofocus all day, performs very well, I have touch focus on also so if it needs to focus quick or misses focus i touch the screen and its instant.
Thanks everyone for the kind comments, happy to answer XH2s questions and be sure to check out my other XH2s uploads!
Very cool. Love the color.

Fringer ef - fx ii

Sigma 18-35 and Sigma 50-100 are the only aps-c lenses you need !

Brilliant picture. Filmmaker is really pro
But due to the fact that there are no voices, it looks boring and emotionless. Like photo album with music
Don't think people would book me if it was boring and emotionless pal
