@@NoNonsenseWhisky gotta lova a classic Sidecar, though I’ve started making it with a split base of cognac and whisky. A French Connection is pretty good too. That’s cognac and amaretto.
Beautiful design there! Not many cognacs in my rear view mirror but I've always enjoyed them. Like you said if you're gonna own one, might as well be a good one. Cheers Vin!
150 for 29 years, that's not too bad imo. I like Mark's Channel, very informative. Not all that experienced in Cognac but it seems up my alley! Cheers Vin
I love a cognac. Used to be my tipple of choice before whisky. A bit out of my price range but seems good value with the discount. Thanks for sharing Vin.
Just drank the sample I purchased and it was spot on for a Christmas 🎄 Eve sipper. Might buy the full bottle next month 🤤 Cognac is nicer than I thought it would be 😃
Interesting, Vin, and beautiful packaging as well...(btw you forgot you tried a very old Cognac before, even older than this, 41 yo & CS from a certain youtuber's collection 😉). I'm not into "investment" per se, and often regret that many beautiful bottles (from inside, not only outside) I see will never be opened, but I like to think for instance that some people "invest" for their future and their children in particular to give them whisky at their majority or a kinda security to have valuable goods to selll in case of need, stuff like that. Cognac wise the choice is huge, and I have to restrain myself from getting too much into it because my "first love" is whisky, and that there is also....Armagnac ! Cheers !
It's not a bad price considering the age and strength. I've ordered a 15ml sample from Mark for £5 which seems a good try before you buy.
Perfect! Seems like a no brainer on the sample to be honest
Looking forward to the launch of No Nonsense Cognac!
Hah! Wouldn't that be a fine thing!
I always love to have a cognac around, mostly for cocktails.
Oh interesting. What's your favourite cognac based cocktail?

I'll give it a go!

Absolutely! Especially if you can put it behind a couple of guard bottles!

I'm the same, I've liked what I've tried but hard for me to invest in another expensive drinks hobby 🤣
Sounds amazing stuff and props to Mark for branching out even further! I can see myself falling down the Cognac hole as well! Cheers.
Definitely massive Kudos to Mark and team. If you're gonna do it, you may as well go big!

Cheers Toby! It's a drink I'm slowly exploring and I like what I find! I love the ABV on this one, doesn't seem typical in cognac

Hope you enjoyed!
Looks like an intruiging take on cognac. Stepping away from the traditional presentation (liquid wise that is) Sounds yummy and a great sipper. Cheers
I'm gonna bring a sample of it up to GWF for you!
Just curious: have you tried any Armagnac?
I tried a handful at a Cognac show and enjoyed what I tried!

Armagnac is definitely on my distant radar! Lacking opportunity at the moment. But I'm sure I'll get the chance soon enough
For what it's worth, I'd be interested in some Armagnac reviews. Cheers, Vin!
I'm certainly not against it! I just don't really know where to start with it to be honest
What's this cognac doing on my whiskey-tube!?!?!?
(Although props to Mark, it sounds great)
🤣🤣🤣 and now you've engaged with it so expect more on your feed 🤣🥃
Please don't send me down this rabbit hole as well Vin!
🤣🤣 I'll see you down there mate
