How do we figure out our own measurements for any type of clothing, to make sure things fit correctly/perfectly for customers when they're purchasing from our website as a Brand Owner, if the manufacture doesn't give out their sizing chart or if their sizing chart doesn't match the U.S.A sizing ?
Literally, tape measure using samples as references for the body of the garment takes a lot of time and sampling anyway. I personally just order samples of the garments or cross references with current brands sizing of the garments with the size chart provided by my manufacturer, from there you can adjust each of the measurements to tailor to the sizing you want. Unless you plan on doing cut and sew this would save you a lot of time and effort, things to look at when cross-referencing size charts, For bottoms usually the waist, length and leg opening. For shirts - chest width, shoulder to shoulder width and length. These provide the primary fit for the body or how it would fit. It's a very costly and timely process if you want to size everything from the bottom up and there's no way around it just tape measurements and building flats for each garment or pattern that you'd use to sew these garments by hand.
I have one more question, how do we know how big our design should be for width and height for any piece of clothing we're trying to sell on our website ?
Depends on garment - for t shirts and hoodies front and back try to leave a 2-4 inch safe space on each side if it’s a full print . But also something you’ll have to measure to get right . You can often guess if you have the right size chart of the garment
Any advice for some just starting out bro .. I’m starting my clothing brand and have little experience in design I currently use custom ink to design my clothing but I want them to be more detail . What’s the best software for beginners design
Just bite the bullet and get photoshop and Illustrator. Spend a couple of hours on the weekend learning the program and just spend a couple of months just learning don't need to publish anything just design a poster everyday, learn to trace or even play with blend mode just enjoy the programs.
What if I have a design but my hoodie has strings on it, how would I make my design go from front to back ? So that my design won’t be on top of the strings.
These are often on the product page of the Alibaba listing I just took a screenshot, or you can ask for them. I would recommend buying the physical sample of each colour/fabric because digital doesn't resemble the colour at all, that's why they also have codes. I still asked to see the garment's colour to get a better visual representation. You don't need to do this if it's just simple black and white also another thing to note some of these colours they don't stock. They will have to source or dye to make it for you which will drive your cost per garment up or refuse service unless you order a certain minimum.
Yo how do you draw so quickly on illustrator. I am tracing a hoodie like this and when I I want to curve something to follow the path it doesn’t look smooth with the line before it. Any tips?
@@benjam3333 in that case yes. Once you make all the outlines, sampling exsapnd or make the outlines into a shape and use the shape builder to make them one.
Order a sample from my manufacture / company they sent them over. I just got the codes and colour matched them for the technical pack. Each company has a book of fabrics / colours - you can ask for it. Most will give it out once you order sample.

For the size chart. Do let your manufacturer know what type of tee or hoodie you want to use?

hi I have an question, how did u make the logo and the hearts ?
what's the dimensions for this style hoodie ?
i bought the mock ups how do i change the coulour of the hoodie and that
Simply just click the colour layer and select the colour you need in Illustrator.
How do you find a manufacturer?
If I created my logo in procreate and it is fuzzy will that effect anything or do I have to hire someone to remake it at high resolution
Just depends on how bad it looks but you should be fine
Does your patreon include the mockup cut ups?
Can this be done on photopea?
Might take a bit longer but yes
fuck yes thank you
should weight be included in a tech pack?
Yes , this was for a sample so they send what they have in stock * of that colour*

For digital I tend to work in 3000x3000 pixels - for print A4-3 but doesn’t matter really if your working in illustrator
