CJ, love the content, love Darkness. Everything that has been added on compliments the other. You went deep on this series with the tear down and rebuild. Good on you buddy. I plan on buying a Road King in January or February so I'm doing my research now and your channel has helped me out a ton , so thanks. I noticed you added some type of crash bars around the saddlebags. They look great! Who's the make and where can I order them. Thanks again. Also, knowing what you know now what advise would you give to someone buying a newer Road King ?
@@billalcantar03 Bill thanks for the feedback, I really appreciate it. The saddlebag guard rails are from Harley (Part Number: 90201902). Only advice I can give you on assembling your new Harley is take your time and do your research. So many customizing options it’s easy to spend money on parts just to later change direction (something I’ve done several times). Good luck and let me know if you ever need info on parts modifications etc.
@@darknessroadking thanks man I really appreciate your response. There are so many amazing builds out there including yours and I get side tracked on what direction to go in. I just have to try and stay in my lane. Thanks again brother be safe!
I have a question that’s really not related to this video but… on your opinion what’s the header pipes that have work better with the steady customs sharkfin mufflers?.. I ask because I see through your videos you have tried different mufflers and/or head pipes. I’m thinking about getting the S&S true dual power head pipes with 39” sharkfin tails from steady customs with baffles, just asking for your honest opinion. Thanks!
Absolutely, early on this build I was running a FP4 and I definitely felt the difference once I ditched that tuner and went full dyno with power vision.
It's a wolo siren that has been adapted (using a relay) to connect directly to the bike's battery. The horn itself is less than $50 but only comes in chrome. I can put you into contact with the guy I bought mine from just find me on Instagram and send me a dm, happy to help.
Bike continues to look badass!
thanks for the information
Thank you for the inspiration
Great video. That’s one thing I love about my 30/30 .485 Star Racing cam it the torque. I’m loving it
Thanks big dawg! Appreciate the comment.
Amen brother!!!
Great video and sounds like you are pleased with the outcome 🤙
Great video review on both cams, you got me thinking 🤔
I was looking at the cr480mt/cr483/Cr485 cams for my 21 road king special. I think you've sold me on the 480mt. Looks like a fun bike
Nicely done! The bike looks and sounds great… and it looks like it performs well, too. 👏🏼👏🏼💪🏼💪🏼
Means alot coming from you bro. That engine tear down and rebuild you recently did was inspiring!
@@darknessroadking Thanks, CJ! Appreciate that! 👊🏼👊🏼

Where you got the blanket roll?!
Check out Stella’s Parasols on Instagram. She has lots of different serape/bedroll colors and options.

Love the bike brother have a question what brand-name handlebars are you using and what size are they? Also, what size front rim are you using?
Thanks and Im running a 15" Steady Custom Cycles "Old School" handlebar. The front rim is 21x3.5" and it's a Turbine from Metalartopia.
do u find the bike jerks when going slow in first and second gear?
was it worth it to do the dyno tune?
Absolutely, early on this build I was running a FP4 and I definitely felt the difference once I ditched that tuner and went full dyno with power vision.
@darknessroadking u never said what it cost for dynotune.
what does it cost for a dyno tune?
What Horn/Siren is that?
