PORSCHE CARRERA 996 HPS POST MAF TRACK TESTING AND INSTALLATION

The HPS Performance Silicone Intake Hose for Porsche 996 is a simple and effective upgrade that can be completed in under 30 minutes. Increase horsepower, torque, and induction sound while reducing clutter in the engine bay. This intake hose has a smooth interior to provide uninterrupted air flow.
Unlike similar products on the market that simply cap off the resonator chamber, our design fully deletes the stock resonator and increases the capacity of the OEM air box all while maintaining a clean and stealth appearance. The resonator delete plug is CNC machined from 6061 aluminum billet and powder coated a textured matte black to match the factory plastic.

so, there are screws inside the airbox that could back out and go into the intake? hmmm, hard pass

The three Phillips screws that were removed and reinstalled are original hardware found in the stock OEM air box, as shown in the video
