As an Irishman the thing I liked about Dolores was that she wasn't afraid to use her own accent singing. She was authentic and made no apologies for who she was.
That was her charm and was among things making her unique. May the Lord rest her soul in peace.

I'm like an idiot crying in front of my screen watching the Cranberries ... We see in this excerpt that she was no longer the same physically but her voice was still there (a bit like Elvis at the end). She will remain wonderful in my eyes, with her magnificent voice, and that I took so much pleasure to listen to when I was a teenager after returning from college. I will never forget Dolores and the song "Dreams" will always make me cry. Thank you for having existed and for all that you left us with your group "The Cranberries". Eternal friendships from France.

Whenever I hear her voice, I remember the first time I heard her, and it was love at first sight. Even being a teenager and with little money, I bought the CD, and after that, I remember the anxiety of waiting for the next release, and it was like that until the album "Wake up...". I listened to Cranberries day and night, day after day, through good times and bad times. When she was gone, a part of me died too, and I feel that emptiness and sadness every time I hear her. Dolores, you were and always will be my favorite singer, you made me travel together with your lyrics and your voice... I hope you are in a blessed place full of light.

An old friend of mine was her next door neighbor when she lived in cottage country Canada. He said he’d come home from work and she be playing the piano solo. He’d hear her from his house and said it almost brought him to tears every single time. Shoutout to buckhorn and RIP Delores.
I'm on the other side of the lake and never heard her playing piano bit spotted her around every once in a while. Nobody ever seemed to bug her which was nice.

I didn't learn of her passing until earlier this year. We were the same age and she was just one of those celebrity personalities i assumed would always be with me. But to lose her to alcohol... the same addiction that is ravaging me and killing my family.

I watched this video a few times - they will not make eye contact with her while she is looking at them. they hooked up again for money, but they treated her like sh*t. She may have been "difficult" or whatever, but ... those jackasses were cold. she WAS THE STAR of that band, no question - get over yourselves a**holes. RIP Dolores, you were/are a LEGEND.
