Every Christmas time, we get hot coco and drive around and look at the lights. It's something I have done since I was little and my boyfriend and I have continued the tradition.
Good morning Mary. it's been hot here too. I've been ice skating a few times, we took our kids when they were younger. There was an indoor ice rink in the next town over from where we used to live. Come winter time we took our kids downtown to Detroit to Campus Martius Park they always have a rink by the Christmas tree, kinda like Rockefeller Center in New York City. Only tradition we have is we go to look at Christmas Lights and dinner out. No plans this weekend. Just relaxing and getting things done. Have a great day and weekend.
I used to roller skate but I have never tried ice skating. I couldn't roller skate now if my life depended on it lol. Sounds like you are making memories and that's what it's about I think. For me I want my kids to look back and have fond memories of me after I'm gone.

@marylovecountryliving You will feel so good after it's all done. I love my place after cleaning and decluttering. Feels like a new home. I wish I could clean but I'm still recovering from 2 broken knees. Broke one in January the other in March. Still learning to walk.

I came to college here back in the 80’s and fell in love with Milledgeville. 😀 I met my husband and we made a life here. Milledgeville is still considered a small town but it has everything I need.
@@marylovecountryliving oh yes!! Milledgeville was home from the very first year of college. It’s actually only about 90 min from the area Janet ( My Modern Homestead) lives. I enjoy her videos and Save With Judy, too.

Hi Ms Mary, my parents are very traditional, me not so much. Love your challenges. I will be going for a hysterectomy on Monday 1 July so my weekend is about getting groceries and my bag packed for hospital. So if u don't hear from me in a few days u know why. Big hug to u❤😊
