Hello and Welcome to my neck of the woods. I'm Mary and this is Country Living.. I live in Southern Oklahoma. My husband and I have a 10 acre hobby farm. We have a few chickens some ducks a couple of horses and a dog.
I cook simple meals nothing fancy around here.I like to Can. I tell everyone that canning is cheaper than a Therapist lol and now I am on a journey to save and learn to better budget my money. So come on in and pull up a chair. There's always sweet tea in the fridge and a place at my table.

Gm Mrs Mary I think you did well… I agree with the emergency fund savings.. I’m on social security and I did the same thing last year about an emergency fund and my checking acct is for bills and groceries.. best decision I ever made it’s a eye opener when you start tracking every dime you see spending you hadn’t even counted unnecessarily too…. We all need a little savings no matter the income and savings challenges are way to do it..
