  • Cleaning the debris filter:
If your solenoid is light gray, below are instructions on cleaning your G3 debris filter & flushing:
    1) Shut off handle manually OR supplies below.
    2) Disconnect battery power
    3) Pull the top clip off horizontally out and lay it aside.
    4) Pull the solenoid down off the valve line.
    5) Tilt the top of the box toward you. You will insert a Qtip into the solenoid tube and rub it around over the permanent white debris filter..
    6) Hook the solenoid back up and lock it in place with the clip..
Flushing the solenoid follows a similar regardless of your solenoid.
    How to flush the Solenoid:
A quick and easy way to flush the module is to remove the spray wand and hold the hose into the sink while running the water at full flow tapping the water on and off several times for 20-30 seconds.
If it still drips constantly when touched off, please follow these steps:
Move the handle to the off position.
Place a bucket or stockpot under the electronics module. Have a towel handy.
Remove the clip from the hose fitting on the bottom of the module by pushing the clip off the hose.
Disconnect the hose from the module.
Point the bottom of the electronics module into the bucket/pot. Prepare for water to come from the bottom of the module.
Move the handle to the fully on, mixed position.
Shut off the handle after a couple of gallons.
Reconnect the hose to the electronics module and secure it with the clip. Pull down moderately to verify that it is locked into place.
Once done, remove the cap from the battery pack, for 2 minutes to reset the solenoid to factory settings and test the faucet. If the issue persists, the purchase of a new EP74854 solenoid from a Delta-authorized seller would restore touch functionality and flow and give you a new 5-year electronics warranty.
