Willy's Jeep Warn Overdrive Install

Warn/Saturn Overdrive install in the 59 CJ-5. This is applicable to all vehicles equipped with a Dana 18 Transfer Case. When installed this gives a 25% gear reduction, giving more speed and less engine rpms.

Mines been sitting since 1968 or so. Have an NOS one hanging off the back of a sm465/super18. Great video at a great time.

. when I installed mine the snap ring was a sloppy fit. it was in there but it was not snug. I contacted the person I bought it from and he said that was ok. I have a 420 muncie in a 63cj. I had to fab a complete shift linkage from scratch. made a shift lever from a model 18 in out shift lever. looks oem

How does this work with a PTO. can you run both?

Yes I run both on my personal Jeep, there is a adapter plate.
