    It's surprising that the comments aren't turned off.
    Usually, mainstream media turn the comments off, afraid of the feedback.

    • @1crumpet

      Exactly. This is the reason they usually turn them off because most of the comments don’t support them. Good on them though for letting people show what they really think.

    NZ First are the only party that tackles wokeness, and stands for common sense. Shane Jones and Winston Peters have my vote.

    Inequality is not the problem with Maori. To see the problems as primarily economic is a Marxist approach. The problems for Maori are the same as for Pakeha. To solve domestic abuse, criminal behaviour, truancy, unemployment, solo-Mothering, alcoholism, drug abuse, suicidal tendencies, poverty... etc. They are the same problems for Maori, as they are for Pakeha. They require resisting those tendencies, and taking personal responsibility for one's actions, and doing a contrary good action, and trying to stamp out those bad habits. The leaders of Maori, like Pakeha, should encourage everyone to do better. Make improvements to your behaviour. And the best way is with Christianity. But however one tries to do it, the problem and the cure comes from the heart, not the wallet. And this is the challenge for all human beings, not just Maori.

      Well put. I also think it’s cultural. We’ve had a traditional Pa or Marae based culture having been replaced with a degraded western culture, think gangster rap etc, that has no real moral compass and it’s pretty much anything goes. I know we as Maori, and I can especially speak to my generation that was raised in the 80s and older, manners were of utmost importance and I think that has slipped a touch. We need to not regress into anger and hatred and finally realise first and foremost we are all New Zealanders.

    I'm maori and proud of it and NZ First is getting my vote!! Policy #31 out of 35 still gets bought up...meanwhile all the other policies get passed over. NZ First will hit 8% on the 15th.

    Shane Jones is not bagging Maoridom. He merely speaks the truth and tells it how it is. The real harm to Maori comes from this constant victim narrative propaganda, always blaming but never asking the hard questions of themselves. Anyone can be relatively healthy & successful in Aotearoa. You just have to own the responsibility, be accountable & do the work. Also cancel smoking & drugs & gangs & reduce booze to one drink per day. Thats ten extra years of life right there. 🙃

    Thank you for the covid inquiry Shane people suffered enormously health and financially it was terrible making people leave school and work it was dealt with in a very rude and nasty way 💯🇳🇿 to many kids leaving school with no access to health care and a proper education. A covid inquiry shpuld be reviewed because those ppl in power did more damage to working class struggles at the time.

    Mihinarangi is so woke. Look at the way she spoke about the Trans issue.Shane is talking about women’s rights which she clearly cares nothing about. It’s not about being Anti Trans. It’s about making sure women are not disadvantage in sport or in their safe spaces because of people who use the trans movement for their own nefarious purposes. Saying that doesn’t make anyone a bigot.
    As for the climate alarmism. She is trying to get Shane to say he doesn’t believe in Climate change so they can use it to discredit him. Climate change is real but the Alarmism is a business. Shrills like this have such a false agenda. Shane Jones is a Rhodes scholar. I think people like this who try to discredit him need to take a look at their own hypocrisy? Who’s paying for this show? Oh yes The public journalism fund. I rest my case.

    we have systems such as health, housing etc, which individuals can use, but its up to the individuals to utilize those systems, if we as individuals choose to, no government can regulate how we use or utilize those systems, we choose to see the doctor, we choose to use social housing, individuals choose how they live their lives if we make bad choices its no ones fault but our own, the 3 at the end of this presentation obviously fall short on listening skills, and are in love with a nana state,

    Shane Jones tried to sell Wharekahika to an overseas corporation, there would be no jobs for the locals with the wharf they wanted to rebuild.The Ngati Porou runanga was part of lying to the community. Foreshore and seabed Maori ownership stopped environmental damage and their kaimoana resouces. Stay out of peoples cupboard.

    Maori want self determination. How can you be self determined if you won't take responsibility for yourself and your family. This so-called dialogue is nonsense. Maori talk, inherently racist colonialist pakeha listen and agree. No political system will work if it is based on religion or race. There are no instances where it works.

    • @MandySam13
      @MandySam13 Рік тому +1

      Saying woman have a right to feel safe in their spaces isn’t being bigoted against trans people. Maybe some women are handmaidens who care more for the feelings of a small group of men, than their own sex. Just false virtue. It’s nothing to crow about.

    • @ProfessionalBadPerson
      @ProfessionalBadPerson Рік тому

      @@MandySam13 Actually it is, because it implies trans people are inherently predatory and a threat to women’s safety. The reality is that trans inclusive policies do not harm women’s safety and there’s plenty of data to prove it, for example the Massachusetts bathroom study.
      Women who are anti-trans are the real handmaidens, given they partner with fundie theocrats who want to turn New Zealand into Gillead! If we poll people on this issue we see those who oppose trans inclusive policies are men, not women! Further showing how it’s not a women’s issue and it’s just bigotry, as men are more likely to hold more bigoted opinions.
