Like comment watch. Stay safe, stay well guys. Let me see what's going on in this video. Yes that train tour would be a must do.. oh my stomping 🍇 geez lol. Gr8 info
@@Livingtheglobe no stomping planned. Going to Quinta de aveleda (gardens), amarante, casa mateus (gardens), pinhao, lamego, and regua. Using a car for Douro and Braga/Bom Jesus do Monte. Staying in Gaia. Taking train to Aveiro, Coimbra and guimaraes. Then we fly to Bilbao and do Spanish and French Basque Country.
Great video with some super useful and practical information. We're doing a a day trip to the Regua/Pinhao area of the Douro from Porto next week. Plan to get the train from Porto, do a boat trip (probably Pinhao-Tua return, 2 hours or Regua to Pinhao one way), maybe rent a kayak and then get the train back to Porto in the evening. I'd heard that the scenery is better upstream from Pinhao going up towards Tua than it is on the stretch between Regua and Pinhao. Would you agree? We'd like to see both Regua and Pinhao but will probably only have time to do one due to the plan to do a 2-3 hour boat trip too. Thanks
Miss information. There's no urbanos to Régua or Pocinho. The InterRegional trains IR goes from Porto to Pocinho and from Pocinho to Porto, as for Regional trains the R some goes from Porto to Régua and other from Marco de Canaveses to Régua and vice-versa. The urban trains goes from Porto-São Bento to Marco de Canaveses or to Braga, or Guimarães or Aveiro.
Beautiful location! I sent you an email regarding your cruise to Alaska and a stop in Vancouver. Not sure if you received it, but I gave you my phone number because it is probably easier than writing out a super long email.
Thanks!

Enjoyed your Douro vlog. That’s one of my planned day trips from Porto in September. Hope you’re feeling better. 😊
Thank you! We are both well already! Please share your experience with us when you return! Are you going to participate in the grapes harvesting?

I wonder if there is a place that is a winery that is a hotel on that same site and provides the stomping grapes all in 1 place?
Yes there is
Thank you for your lovely video! Visiting in October and this was helpful!
Glad it was helpful! Enjoy the valley and the wine!
Hi, what is the name of that train tour (7.50 euro, min 12)? I am unable to find anything about it online, thank you!
Not sure, it’s best to book it when you get there
Looks a bit like the lake District in northern England
wow didnt know England had views like that

Hi, Mike! Thank you so much for emailing us! ❤️ Just responded 😃
is it true that the Douro Valley has the least rain fall in Portugal?
No sure but when we were there the first time it was raining for the entire week 😂
