Yes you can wash your hair like this and you can wash once a week, twice or maybe even regularly. I think for beginners just wash twice a week.

If it's low porosity or straight it can grow mould because those conditions hold moisture more. Not Letting it dry fully is also not so good. Hair doesn't need washing as freq as every day, especially locs.

If you have dreads you need to wash them like that,i mean you can't just wash them normally with normal shampoo?
sipos cristi no, I made that mistake bro don’t do it. reg shampoo leaves residue, heavy. My scalps flaking andnits not dandruff it’s straight residue. It also stops your locs from properly loccing and in some cases the residue grows into your dreads (so I’ve heard, don’t quote me on the last part)
There is shampoo specifically for dreadlocks. I wash my hair 2-3 times a week. I use a brand called Dollylocks. The rinse that he's doing is just to detox the dreads and get rid of any residue and debris. That only needs to be done every 2-3 months.
You need to soak in the baking soda alone for at least 30 minutes and then rinse with ACV! The way you did it is not effective.
