- A driver's dashcam captured a wild car crash on the 134 Freeway in Burbank, and the California Highway Patrol is now reviewing the video. Good Samaritans rushed to help the SUV driver, who was then taken to the hospital with minor injuries. #shorts

@@skankhunt3624 I was 18 when I had to change my first flat tire. It was on the freeway and boy did it gave me an adrenaline rush. It’s like I kinda liked the presence of danger.

I always have a good laugh at UA-cam comments throwing out completely arbitrary guidelines for sentencing. Obviously the driver needs to be jailed for a long time, but how do you even come up with that number?
The amount of jail time would very much depend on the severity of the consequences of their actions. If someone died as a result of their actions, then certainly 10 years would not be unreasonable. But you cannot just arbitrarily make that 10-year judgement without knowing the exact circumstances.

Speed does play a factor. Going at speed limit weaving it and out might give said person time to react. Going too fast and making quick turns will spin you out if not flip the vehicle over.

The person deserves jail time, but you can't rationally argue that the same punishment or worse than if the crime of murder had actually occurred.

Again, there are varying degrees of murder, different types of charges for reckless driving, because the outcome is not the same. I almost got into an accident with a semi because they didn't see me, we would not charge the semi driver as if the accident did occur and I don't get an insurance payout for the hypothetical totalling of my vehicle

Tons of drivers like this in Glendale the driver passed you like your in their way always in a hurry to go nowhere, the city should just remove all the STOP signs because half the residents ignore them signs. Old Glendale is missed
All that will do is get you to your destination 2 minutes earlier or maybe an hour earlier if it is long distance. Regardless, it's not worth the risk.

Never stop on the side of a freeway and if the vehicle won’t move get as far away as possible people get killed trying to fix their cars on the side of the freeway by others who don’t look far enough ahead

I think it's an average of a minute saved by speeding. Most people speeding don't need that extra minute.
Why is so easy to obtain and keep a driver's license? Retest every 4 years, and not just a 5 minute drive around the block without hitting anything.

Dept of Transportation is trying to force speed limiters on eighteen wheelers but what they need to do is force speed limiters on ALL DRIVERS known to be speeders.
Here’s an idea… if all vehicles, except emergency vehicles, were to be programmed to not exceed the speed limit of the road they’re traveling on, NO MORE RECKLESS SPEEDERS… AND less traffic jams.
