- How to make a custom mouth guard with text. This mouthguard is an MMA mouthguard with text. The customer had asked for the text to read "Cheese", and wanted the text to be in Old English writing. This video highlights the hand makeing process that goes into all our custom fit Mouthguards. Enjoy!

We use soft. We don't remember what sport we made this mouthguard for. But use use soft plates that, when combined, add up to 2-4 mm thick. Depending on the sport.

Can you please let me know what software you’re using to design the logos / customise decals that can then be printed and trimmed on vinyl?
He used photoshop for it, Im not sure what size he used though. two fit on the mouth piece I'd assume it would be something small, but from what I can see at 6:33 it looks to be 1920x1080 hope this helped :)

Hello, I was wondering what type of plastic or material do you use when you create the thermoformic mold. How do you manage to keep the plastic on , without it falling off from the mouth guard itself. I could really use this information. Thank you.
It's most likely a thin EVA sheet, that bonds with the black sheets of the mouth guard

I'm not sure what the graphic material is made of But I've been trying to make one myself and I've heard the material from the stickers are laminated on
The material we use is Vinyl. The machine we use cutout the vinyl is a Graphtech.
Can you use the blue vacuum former you have in the corner for this thickness? Eg 5mm
@@KellieKellie-xl4gy No that machine only fits 1MM sheets. Good for retainers and teeth whitening trays, and that is about it.

How do you not get air bubbles on the clear layer I keep getting air bubbles when I place the final clear layer
What machine are you using? Vacuum thermo forming machines tend to give bubbles. Pressurized thermoforming machines are good at eliminating bubbles.

It's more likely to do with the plastic sheet having been exposed to moisture. If you store the sheets in open air, they will absorb moisture from the air which then causes bubbles when heated. If you keep the sheets in heat sealed moisture proof bags, and use them shortly after cutting open the sealed bag, you're much less likely to have bubbles.

Drufomat is a dental device. It sells for over $4000. There are other brands out there...like Biostar. Either way, they are dental machines that cost in the thousands.

The hardest part will be getting all the equipment, and materials. I started with a lot less and a lot cheaper tools then this, and they were still worth about €1200

What type of printer is it?
This is not a printer but a Vinyl Cutter. The Brand is Graphtech.
How do you do the customize logos? If it's a personal colorful logo for instance
