I use an Opro mouth guard & it is fantastic. However, my sparring is limited, so if you are a regular sparring type of individual then I'd personally spend that bit extra & get a proper moulded mouth guard. 'Protect your teeth at all times' - Jaws (1975)
Mate im loving the way over your channel your slowly starting to bring out your humour, its quality lmao. The straight face and sarcasm is hilarious bro
I also use a custom molded one. You can get one made often as cheap as $50 USD. Most definitely worth the price. Once a tooth is gone, it’s gone! Like others said on here, I also keep one of those 1.99 boil and bites in my bag for the rare “emergency” but definitely wouldn’t use it if I can avoid it.
Should try and introduce SISU or Shockdotor MICROFIT series, those are the thin one, fit and protective. I got trouble molding those thick mouthguard, spending money but unfit, so to me thinner one is easier to mold and fitter.😮💨
Could you review the new Shock Doctor Gel Max, Gel Max Power, Ultra 2, and Nano Double designs? They are marketed as being for boxing, but the American versions of the first three now have a piece of plastic that hangs off the front (so it can attach to an American football helmet) that seems like it could cut the inner lip (and there are some reports of that in reviews online)
My teeth clash, so im not under or over shot in any way, the SISU mouthguard is hard plastic, so when I got punched straight to the chin with an uppercut, it offers no protection or cushioning, I just got rattled, a slight cut to my inner lower lip and aching lower teeth for a day of two, I HAVE NOW JUST ORDERED A MOLDED CUSTOM FIT mouthguard from PRO GUMSHIELDS, as per this channels website recommendation, I think the sisu may be good for some sports where breathing is key without the possibility of to much impact but for boxing, mma, and other sports where you will get regular smacks to the jaw I would NOT recommend it
Opro has amazing impact protection, always been my go to brand. Had to use my spare Everlast one time and it was shockingly bad, too thin and barely any protection at all.
Opro doesn't sell the "Power-Fit" model anymore. Did they discontinue it? Or did they simply rebrand it under a new name? The Opro "gold" looks similar...
I just got mine from the dentist about 12 years ago and still fits perfect

As I remember I think heavy duty but check with the mouth piece guy
Thank you Because i am still thinking which one i should get.

Rebrand I would say
@@Fit2Box Seems like it. I think the new name is the “Instant Custom-Fit” - but it appears to be the same as the Opro Power-Fit
Thanks!
Powguard are great for custom fit, better than Safejawz IMO
