@@karlandrefrantzen6709 you're welcome. Going off memory I want to say the tester I bought came with a 14mm and 12mm adaptor. Can't remember the thread pitch though. Kinda coarse, maybe a 1.5mm thread pitch.
@@chickenhousemechanic Mine comes with 3 adaptors but i would think that the threads on the injectors are in inches so lets see if the kit will fit when yours is metric
From what I understand it is a way to relieve pressure to the injection. Others online have said the tool leaks if you loosen it so I just left mine tight and relieved pressure by cracking the line fitting at the injector.
I looked through my papers and spreadsheet and I apparently didn't write it down. Most likely I bought them from Just8ns.com. Part number for the 1958-1964 injectors is C5NE9E527A.
Great Advice!
I priced new tips verses the whole injector and the cost difference was 30 dollars more for three complete injectors so that's what I ordered!.
Isn’t it a 4 cylinder?
Where did you get..?
I set the 961 at 1750 if I remember right, according to manual
Hello.. Good day, just wanna ask, from what engine is that injector? And what would be the best PSI for that kind of type?? Tnx..
Injectors were the original ones out of a 172ci 4 cylinder diesel. Pop off pressure is 2750 psi.
Did you make a adapter and fit it to the injector in order to connect the pressure tester?
The metal line came with the injector tester. It has another one too.
@@chickenhousemechanic Thanks for the replay, i hope the pressure test set i ordered fits my ford 3000 injectors as it is.

@@chickenhousemechanic but for pop testing how should I set the jnob
@@kubaSWAT had mine turned all the way in so the pressure didn't bleed off.
@@chickenhousemechanic got it thanks, and the tester doesnt leak ??
@@kubaSWAT nope. Kinda surprised at that honestly.
What about pre injection?
As far as I know these injectors do not have any pre injection. Service manual doesn't mention anything either.
Where did you order your nozzles from?

@@chickenhousemechanic thank you I'm rebuilding my 63 4000 industrial and your videos have been a great help along with the manual
@@jeremyhastings8413 glad to hear that. I try to make the videos thorough without being too boring. The manual is a great help too.
Wonder if you can maybe try some Teflon tape to see if you can get the Knob to work without leaking.
27-50 what?
2750 psi
