looks a cool piece of kit,,,i think i need to see videos with people playing about on one,,showing the sampling capabilities what it can actually do..is it just a sampler player with use of the filter that come with it or can you spread it onto a midi keyboard,,either way looks interesting
They seem to be pushing the analogue circuits and 8/12 bit DA converters (or AD, probably makes more sense). So, I'd imagine it will have a certain sound. No preorder placed, indeed, let's wait for the demo vids.
@@abominablemusic i can imagine thats because of the digital side of the machine plus trying to keep the old sound from the linn drum...like you mentioned if you just wanting sounds then maybe get the free samples,,i'm more interested in the sampler side the playability and what its capable of,,the behringer video shows nothing to make me want to go spend money on one,,,but i am interested
by the way merry xmas and cool set up you've got,,i came across your channel a while back on a video about the 960 sequencer from the 55 series,,i was searching about clocking the 960 to other sequencers,,i'v ended up just using a keystep sending a gate and a pitch for time being and using the sequencer from that,,, i know its down to s trigs and v trigs or maybe a clock divider module,,i'll get my head around it soon,,,,always something new to learn or research
Yea, lots of sampling drim machines out there that are very capable. But Behringer will push the 'vintage' and 'recreation' angle and I think this will sell well. Perhaps not for me...
It does not. How many outputs does the MPC have? This one has many many outputs for the single sounds. And a separate volume and pan slider for each. Question is if you need the separate outputs. If any, in my opinion, the closest competition is the TR8S. It has also a lot of physical controls and a bunch of outputs.
This is one of the most divisive pieces of equipment I ever seen. I can’t wait for it to release.
Haha, funny. Ordered the LMDrum, and found drumkito couple of days ago. Downloaded and cleanly renamed all files, ready for the LM!!!
I'm curious to know how different or similar the sounds will be. Enjoy the kit when it arrives!
Pre ordered can't wait
Analog wooow...
In the UK, these should be hitting the shelves in about 10 days. Hope you like it !

nice one!
✌🏻😎🇲🇽
I dont get it. A used mpc one at the same price does all of this and way more
The Linn Drum had a very humanized thing going on. It was not perfect in its timing. That is desirable.

Sure, we like equipment with a personality. Will be interesting to see how the recreation captures this.
Interface is Everything
