Ok so , firstly... you are really good at this type of video.. your personality and quality of your voice is perfect for this . And the demo was helpful .. not too technical, but a great look at what this pad can do... I really need to start creating my own percussion, using the drums on my rc500 makes me feel like a fraud..lol😂. But I still use em’ because they don’t use a “track” on the looper, (and I only got 2) ... thanks again Christine, you da best....
Hey thanks man! I didn’t want to get too technical because I think most just want to hear the quality of the sounds? That was my guess at least. Also, I still use some drum tracks on my boss rc-600 for certain songs I want to loop quickly. I listen to a podcast that often says a quote that I have come to live by “Does the audience even care”? The answer is no. Do your thing, I’m sure everyone will enjoy it.
@@thechristinedemeo I agree, most listener’s don’t even notice 🤣… it’s just for my own satisfaction that I feel the need to lay down my own percussion.. I’m not sure why.. I’ve just always wanted to be able to play “all the parts” 🤷🏻♂️🤣
IMO yes this is good enough to gig with for small cafe type gigs and such. I would first play with the kits you want to use and adjust the velocity, tuning and volume of the pass before you gig with them. I don’t think they were mixed very well for live stuff. I’ve been adjusting mine and able to use at small gigs but I also bring an egg shaker to make up for the cymbals I don’t enjoy.
I have just bought one. They are discounted at Thomann (225€ current price, which is pretty good). My plan is to use it along my Yamaha MODX+/MONTAGE and my Boss RC-600 looper. Can't wait to get it! 🤩
Wow! I wasn’t aware that it didn’t. I guess this thing will have its limitations for $300. I just use mine to loop beats on my RC-600. I hope not having that feature doesn’t ruin your experience!

Great review and demo. You should do drum lessons too on here. Would you ever play the alto saxophone?
Thank you! I think there would be better options for drum lessons out here than I could do. I watch a guy named Rob Brown.
Does it come with built in music tracks that you can play with?
No it doesn’t unfortunately…but it features a way for you to play tracks off of a usb stick or your mobile device.

That sounds like a great set up! Have fun with it.🤘🏽😎
Awesome, do you ever upload your own sounds with usb?
No. I just use the preloaded sounds and modify them.
Gm can u save the beats as u play ? An does it have a c charger adapter plug
As far as I know, you can’t save beats as you play. It uses a micro usb charger.
How does it sound through an amp/cab?
Never played it through an amp or cab, but sounds pretty decent through my PA.
Thats what I have. Its a powered headrush/pa thanks. Great demo.@thechristinedemeo
Oh nice! Thanks man.
I just got one of these and love it BUT was shocked to se it has NO Quantize or Sequencing ability to put what you play in perfect time.....
