A delightful thing happened recently: I don't recall which of her new, original songs was being discussed, but the work was being 'accused' of too much autotune. The actual sound engineer who worked it jumped in and commented that he used none, that (as you say above), she doesn't need it.
THERE IS NO AUTOTUNE IN THIS VIDEO!!! I am not mad… but I do know my craft and what I am talking about after 40 years of experience in the field of Audio Specialties. It is all DANELIYA’s NATURAL singing voice without edits, gimmicks, etc. I am a audio engineer . I’ve done sound effects for TV and movies. and I can tell from any videos just by my ear (hearing) alone. Portland Oregon USA 🇺🇸
THANK YOU! I wish you could drop this response into every comment that pops up about autotune under her videos. So many people are just not able to grasp Daneliya's ability to sing with such a pure, pitch perfect voice and I I DO get mad whenever I see those statements. (Not at Danny though, because he left the question open, which you answered so eloquently).
She just gets better and better. I can’t explain why but her voice is so entrancing, her emotions, just haunting. What can I say that hasn’t already been said?
14 years old! I have been watching her performances since she was 10 and saw her 2017 The Voice Ukraine performance. She has improved so much since then and is already excellent. I am a little afraid of what she will be accomplishing over the next 4 years if she continues with all of her hard work and continues her training. I have heard people say she must have been born with natural talent but I believe her talent is 90% passion, diligence, effort and training. She seems dedicated.
This is a mind-blowingly beautiful vocal and it’s not auto-tuned. At 15 she’s one of the best female vocalists in the world. Her voice is so rich, beautiful, and passionate and her instinctive artistry is just as good. She’s incredible and a future superstar.
This is a beautiful piece. I’ve heard a few of Daneliya’s covers and appreciate her talent greatly. Kind of fun for me when - as a result of my love of one artist - I discover other artists. (Daneliya is from Kazakhstan…). I don’t go out of my way to listen to her (a little out of my usual musical wheel house), but appreciate her talent every time I hear her. Another Kazakh talent I found is Ninety One. Previously with five members, they now are down to four. They’ve been very popular for a few years and have an interesting social message that involved one of the members becoming an elected politician in order to represent his country’s youth.
Very nice cover of "Runaway by Daneliya!" The original version of the song (one of AURORA's first singles which was released 6 years ago) has been reborn and gone viral this year, in part through activity on TikTok and the associated digital duets with AURORA, so now the song is becoming much more widely heard, and young artists are discovering it and creating new versions. This cover is one of the best I've heard!
Thanks for reacting to this "epic" cover! I was literally overwhelmed when I first listened to it, and I feel - after having listened to it a lot - I still haven't fully processed everything that Daneliya puts in there. She just always serves the full dish, including her heavenly melismas/runs for "dessert". Cheers, your "little Daneliya imp on your shoulder" 😉
Yes a great reaction Danny, are you falling under her spell as well (resistance is futile). Such fantastic vocals that are like a drug to my ears. I hope she does well in the world because I want to hear Daneliya for years to come.

Daneliya has 160+ songs that she has covered she has three or four or maybe even five of her originals and every one of them is worth reacting to. Check out her UA-cam channel
Her cover of Stone Cold and a followup traditional song at an earlier age makes her reminescent of Angelina Jordan beautiful talent; Dimash is supportive and withdrew from a Competition because they were not forthright with him; in Kazakstan Adults encourage youth but will not compete against them. Diverse cultures should be appreciated and not infringed upon; too many travelers forget that they are a guest of the country they visit.
Daneliya does not need Autotune. If you watch some of her Live performances she uses that riff you thought was autotune in some of her songs. She just has incredible vocal control and ability. Her Vocal coach is incredible and produces her video covers. She has had the coach since she was 9 or 10
