Ooh thanks for sharing Marieka, the story of Australia looks great I’ve seen a few books now it’s over like 8 of them!! Love national geographic books!! I keep thinking about those history now books they look so simple and good!

The History Now books are so simple thats actually why I love them. They are easy to slot in with our Gather Round curriculum and they tick the boxes for the Aus Curriculum

We got the history now book for year 1 and the first page about families surprised me. Definitely didn't fit with our Christian views. Not sure how I feel about those books now I've seen tnat

You mean your Christian views, your children may not be Christian and may well be gay so why not present them with all views of the world so that they can decide what their own views are?
