Hi, when you put a small amount of oil on first before putting the gear in you didn't compensate for the weight of the gear. Before the gear the scales read 0. But with the gear it was 0.3. then you filled it to 1.4. so by my reckoning you only had say 1.0 to to 1.1g of oil in the diff. Am I missing something?

Is the 1.4 fill with any car? Does it vary with lighter oil?
