How long does it take to change the battery? The tip looks a bit wiggling when rotating ?

Do you have any tips for the gearbox assembly? I’m having problems with the 2nd speed clutch, it’s getting stuck and making the housing oval. Happened twice, then it locks in second gear. I already have the xli 2 system, which is theoretically better.

Are you sure about the torque levels? Usually slower speed is higher torque but at the cost of speed, and higher speed is gained at the cost of torque.

I soaked my filter in simple green. The glue disintegrated and the foam came away from the collar!

Ah, the thought of a slipping Centax gives me PTSD from the days when it was first introduced (in the Serpent Excel/9000 series IIRC). In his first race weekend with it, A good friend burned 3 sets of clutch shoes which drove him crazy. I couldn't have been more happy running the conventional clutch in my Sprint 6000 series, for the short time I ran 8th scale back then, lol. These days, everything (except off-road buggies) use a Centax, so I suppose the days of burning clutches are under control - especially with informative videos like this!

Is the value of 1.3 correct for running in the engine?

What's the manual mode? I assume just using wrist power. If a screw is really tight will using manual torque to loosen it break the screw driver is what I'm wondering.

Yo Dude, Love your stuff! Drive it like you stole it....I gotta a question for you I have a 989 first , just built it. I'm have a problem with belt tracking specifically the 4wd belt. Seems to be tracking to the outside in the front. Haven't even put power to it yet afraid it will rip right off. Any suggestions?

Hi Jeff. I used this video and set the spring to 1.2 and second changed perfect. This is my second Spring on this clutch and they are only coming at 9.84mm after an initial squeeze. My first spring was less than 9.8mm when new. Will this just burn out my clutch shoes quicker? I havent seen a spring 10.15 or 10.2mm yet. Just curious what you mean by 9.8mm or less=garbage. Hello Jeff, i got my ses pro screwdriver today and was eager to try it on the Serpent 989. However i must say that it really does not work. Even in the highest torque setting i am not able to unscrew the screws on the 989. Have you tried it on the 989 and does it work for you ? I doesn't seem to have enough power to unscrew or even screw in a screw in the 989. So question is if this is normal or did i get a bad item.

Please do not recommend this device! The Kickstarter campaign comments section is full of backers having trouble to charge their devices (including mine). Arrowmax declines to comment and just keeps ignoring any requests how to overcome this problem. Some report this device to be "just" incompatible with chargers capable of PowerDelivery (which would make the design choice of USB-C ridiculous if this is the case), others just can't charge their devices at all from the start. Beware of this product & the (non-existent) Arrowmax support!
