- Today a quick look at the New Sonokinetic Orchestral Strings Library. I set up a demo of dark and eerie chords to show the beautiful texture and tone of this big new library. This new flagship has some growing pains and needs a couple of updates but looks very promising.

I hadn't heard about this library, but it sounds really good. I love the divisi feature!
They offer beautiful and alive samples in a unique platform. The beauty of their phrases is undeniable the trick is how to make them fluid and usable in your compositions. This new string library is part of the goal.

Indie on for 99 Euros. Just purchased as I know you are a big fan so I have faith it will be great.
David congrats on that purchase. I have many videos on Indie and Sono phrases as you can get very much out of them. Also a great tool for learning and the sheer joy of listening to them. Learning how to use phrases and when, also how to extend there use is a big theme on this channel.
Hey I still haven't understood what's this Library is meant to do .....
Knowing that I am too very SCALER dependent Musician and my work flow is similar to yours can u please guide what to buy first..... INDIE OR ORCHESTRAL STRINGS......
Hi Md. Its always good to have a long term plan when buying Samples as one grows and learns and sometimes out grows a simple library. Every library does something unique and has a place. Knowing what one's goals are is important. If you simply want to experience beautiful phrases and learn from them Indie is a good price now. If you want A string sample library to start your professional venture into creating music Orchestral Stings has built in divisi and sounds great But the phrase part of that needs work and will be fixed in the future. And you would still need woodwinds, brass, and perc. research. Most people Love Indie as It gets them excited about making there own music one day. But even Indie takes skill and knowledge to use it at a high level. Listen to the audio demos and videos on sono's site. Indie is a great way to fall in love with Orchestral Instruments.

I already own Smphony series from Native instruments... 8dio Majestica and Antholog so another Library would not make sense I guess.... except that it has phrase builder ....
So I think I should wait ... thanks a ton for guidance...
May be I can go for indie... will look for some tutorials on it
I hear the sucking effect. Is that due to the ‘cliff edge’ cc programming or is it a problem within the library itself?
I would not judge this library by this video as it was a super fast first test
