Azzaro pour Homme is a masterpiece of male fragrances. It's one of the best scents ever created. Original, masculine, strong, herbal fougere. For those who ar much into eighties, who want to smell very classy, mysterious it's just must have scent. I do not agree with your performance rating. It lasts 10-11 hours. Really! The gem of night scents. Get it

Unlike you, I find it not bitter, too spicy but bland and forgetable, but fine for just knocking around the house or running errands. Like what you are doing
Ay man, i did buy this. Nice scent, i think i don't like it as much as Paco Rabanne nor Polo but it's a nice one, really dig the leather, moss and base mixin' with lavender, aniseed, the cardamom, iris and citruses.
Great review! My mum gave me this as a gift months ago. I'm 26 years old, but i do enjoy vintage fougere stuff. At first didn't like it really, but now i can really enjoy this! It smells like old-school mercedes benz interior with black leather upholstery and brown wood trim hahah + my gf likes it too and says it smells very masculine :)
It's nice to see a review of this one. That small Azarro rant had me laughing. I too am a bit sick and tired of the blue bubblegum wave that has flooded the fragrance world.
Completely agree with your review. I remembered how many men wore this in my neighborhood in the 1980's when I was growing up. I personally have always liked it, but the performance these days is definitely lacking. I also agree about the Azzaro and Chrome flankers, it's like a dizzy teenager created those. One more thing: Azzaro Pour Homme is still extremely popular with elderly men in France.
docsamson198 I could definitely see this still being a popular scent for sure, still being made and now that it’s grown on me I will definitely wear it a lot this fall, thank you for watching and commenting sir!

Yo dude. Yeah, I remember when you said you returned it. I have gotten Azzaro, Royal Copenhagen, Kouros, Paco Rabanne, Agua Brava, since I last saw you. I have a sample of Antaeus on the way from ebay.
Armored Saint those are all awesome scents ! It took me a while to come around on azzaro Pour Homme but I do enjoy it now a lot ! Thanks for stopping back and watching/commenting dude !
Just thought about the flanker azzaro l'eau which is lighter and more spring, summer oriented, don't know if you can get it in the states, but it'd highly recomend you try it's way way better than all the other trash they put out like wanted and chrome plated nonsense, love to hear what you think of it.
I have two bottles of it and I really like it, I don’t have an individual review of it yet but it’s been mentioned in a few of my list videos. Really great scent !
@@ScentsOfSouthJersey when I was young my dad used to take us to the barber's every month, it had high bench seats and rows of Cossack hair products over it, a pirelli calendar on the wall and the two guys cutting hair looked like the Gibb brothers from the beegees, and smelt just like azzaro, and freshly smoked cigarettes, ahh bliss!
Agree with the previous comment - vintage is richer. Get the oval cap version. When this clicked for me, which it did on the second day of wearing, it really really clicked. It's wonderful.
I just bought this and it is a love at first sniff for me! I think I like paco rabanne pour homme a tad more because of the better performance but both are great! You thoughts on the other flankers cracked me up! Trix cereal isle😂🤣👍👍
Haha yeah those flankers can just go away forever for all I care lol this one has really grown on me but I agree paco Rabanne pour Homme is definitely the better choice as good as Azzaro pour Homme is. Thank you for watching and commenting Erik !
„Very berry cerial mix“ hahaha, great! 😂 If there is one note on earth I cannot stand then it is anise 🤢🤮 That’s why I cannot stand Azzaro. However, the way rive gauche does the anise I like very much. Looking forward to your next one, take care and stay safe and healthy! BR, Dan.
Scents Of South Jersey Hi Kelan, I‘m good, tanks. I hope you are doing good too. I was quite busy the last weeks and just watched your reviews of scents I‘m really interested in. Can you give me/us a hint, which scents you will review over the next weeks?
Don Dan fall list soon, just recently did the barbershop scent list im sure you’d enjoy that one if you haven’t seen it already along with the sopranos fragrance video
Scents Of South Jersey Fall list, great! My fall list: Egoiste (for winter too), Chanel Pour Monsieur, YSL La Nuit and Boss Bottled Intense. Your Barbershop and Sopranos videos are really good, great picks for the Sopranos! 👍🏻
So glad I picked this up!! I had the azzaro chrome in my hand while I was in the line then saw the pour homme picked it up instead. Thanks for helping me dodge a bullet with the azzaro chrome😂
My vintage bottle of Azzaro Pour Homme just arrived. Holy crap! It's way better than the current formulation. It was only $35 on eBay. You should definitely invest in a vintage bottle. It's totally worth it and it's not expensive
What a trip. I had a little decant of this-a dabber-around 1990, summer of. Couldn’t stop wearing it. But soon I found my stepdad’s bottle of Drakkar and it was pure love. After being given a bottle I never looked back. Time to revisit Azzaro. Thanks for a great review!
Ah man! Imagine wearing this one back in the late 70s. You'd get a hot chick with a thick bush for sure. Lmao! This one makes me feel like a 70s hitman
Hey there. I got a clone of it and i have to say it has quite some things in common with PR Pour Homme, still that one is more refined and even more artistic we could say. On the other side Azzaro is more rugged and i would say even more mature. I enjoy both of them. In the buying list i've got Versace Eros (Modern clubbing scent) Oscar de la Renta Pour Lui and Chanel Egoiste. I got Polo Green batch May 2020 for my birthday in July, hopefully the leather gets heavier
Azzaro pour Homme its an excelent fragance, but you have to get used to it, not many people like it for the first time, but when it nails you, WOW, it became one of your favorites for sure
Yes it took me a while to warm up to the scent but when my tastes for classics further developed I really grew to enjoy this one. Thank you for watching and commenting Matheus !
I had it last year, and like many others was put off by the sharp harsh, black licorice opening. Revisited it recently now I absolutely adore it, so much that I went through a 3.4 ounce bottle in 3 weeks, wore it constantly. Recently ordered another 6.7 ounces and enjoying that one too. I just absolutely love this juice APH.
It's funny how our tastes change over time. I had a similar thing with Paul Sebastian. Years ago, an older guy suggested that scent and I didn't understand it or appreciate it at all back then, but now that I'm 31 I love it. Azzaro is one I hadn't heard of until I watched this channel. I sampled it at a fragrance outlet recently and really liked it, but it is definitely one I wouldn't have liked when I was younger. It has a very unique scent. I think it's that anise like you mentioned. I'll definitely buy a bottle very soon. My family thought it smelled good on me.
I got the new one and liked it but then git the vintage and it's way better. Less sweet and more bite and less of the sweet licorice part and more masculine with the vintage. The perfume store by my house has several vintage bottles for only 15 bucks each. So much better than the current formulation
Duuuude. I'm loving this fragrance. It definitely makes me want to wear a black shirt and jeans and a leather jacket. Vintage bottles of this aren't expensive online so I'm going to buy one for sure. This one is mainly soapy and animalic on me.
Awesome idea. I wore pour Homme as my SOTD yesterday. I did have to reapply it a couple of times. Do love it thought. The 5 new flankers they released are wicked. Cheers 🇨🇦
I had a similar experience. The tester, which I later found out was vintage, opened with an overload of anise, like being dowsed in Sanbuca liqueur, so I passed. Recently I tried a current formulation and it is sooo weak, and performance is okay at best.
Was my teenager signature scent, the oakmoss ban really castrated this scent,it was never a beast mode, but i remember it lasting for 8 to 12h, currently formulation is very weak.Still a top seller here in Brazil, people call it Azzavô that can be translated to Azzagrandpa. From the house my currently favorive is Azzaro intense, boozy cinnamon and classy.
Dace Dark it’s so metallic I can’t do it lol plus I had a co worker years back who used to only wear chrome and I hated it and his cologne was ripped on to say the least 😂
Great review man Also love the bottle i enjoy this perfume in fall, totally agree with you it is the best season to apply it. I get average performance. Try to apply on your clothes it stays for the next day.
the fragranceholic fragholic I load up my wrists and shirt with it, I definitely notice a push with performance, thank you for watching and commenting dude!
Ahhh nice 😁 absolutely love the punch in the face of anise and caraway 👊👃 I have that version stashed away and cant remember what it performed like, but the vintage bottles I have seem to be a good 7hrs plus for me. Thanks for the review of this classic.
Jeremy Hinze 4.5-5 hours isn’t great but it’s so cheap and smells so good performance does not bother me as much with this one, don’t mind reapplying it, thanks for watching bro !
Only just tried this in-store as we have just reopened shops here in london, really like it, I get the comparison to paco rabanne pour homme, but it's way cheaper so what do you expect! Chrome and aqua, garbage! This is like those eighties power house like lapidus or quorum, I think we need more manly stuff to wear before we all turn into topnot wearing hipster douche's.
It smells like empty bottle of Ouzo. For my taste it's fantastic scent. Yes. It's dated and much better than Paco Rabanne Pour Homme. Little better than Drakar Noir. The only vintage fragrance wich is better than Azzaro is Polo Green. Best Best
Thanks to you Cavella I founded there are many differences between edt and aftershaves. For example you highly recommend Polo Green Edt but not and Polo Aftershave. You talk nice things about Quorum aftershave lotion but as you say Quorum edt ( current version) it's sweeter than aftershave and it is not so good as aftershave.. I have found on internet Azzaro Pour Homme aftershave lotion and Hugo Boss Number One edt for good price. I am not sure for Boss because it's sweetness but please tell does Azzaro Pour Homme aftershave smell good as edt? Thanks Cavella
just blind ordered Bvlgari Black (1998) from ebay 40 dollars, because I think it will become more rare and therefore expensive. The one with the rubber tire note.
I had the exact same experience! Hated the harsh anise opening but loved the mid and base notes but I still planned to sell my bottle on eBay. Then I tried it one last time and I adjusted to the anise and plan to keep it. The performance on me is great especially on clothes, t- shirt was still at 50% full power by morning after spraying it at bed time. Plan to keep this baby !!
I got the Azzaro Pour Homme Limited Edition with the Orange Palm tree on the bottle...thinking it was the Original, just in a different bottle. I've since been told it's a different version. I now want to try the original cause that's what i really wanted. I do however have Azzaro Pour Homme Intense, and do like it, and it lasts longer for me.
It was a really off-putting scent at first too . But still haven’t grown on me this Azzaro, I do appreciate it as a legendary fougère but it’s good . There are worse scents of this house, as you mentioned... Ginger Cringer 😂 I tried that “Naughty Leather “ from those color bottles (this collection in particular is called “Sensual Blends” 😬) and it’s like a low-budget Le Male , there is no such thing as a leather note in this “scent”. So yeah , you don’t miss anything from these Trix cereals lol . I’ve seen a vintage one and that’s Acteur from the late 80s you could check it out .
Yo I have Acteur sample from mcbag and a 50ml of the aftershave it’s some of the strongest sharpest stuff ever lol. But yes once I finally warmed up to this one I do enjoy it, not the best but definitely up there and a true classic.
I think I may have had the same experience when initially smelling it. Didn't buy it for a loooooong time until it was just so cheap that I needed it for reference. The more I wore it, the more I loved it. The new formulation is just so damn smooth on my skin. Almost an aquatic barbershop if there ever was such a thing. Ever tried the Intense version? For some reason the cinnamon they use (the same in Wanted by Night) just doesn't work for me, but I know some people dig that one too. Ps, that cereal comment had me in stitches! 🤣
Just Add Light I was just asking about the intense version I was curious but that sounds like it could be too sweet in which case I wouldn’t be a fan I’d imagine, but our experiences with Pour Homme sounds very similar but I’m glad I really like it now. And I can’t believe the flankers they looks like they were just awful I didn’t even bother lol
@Thomas Jefferson Quite right! It's the 2015 version. Not my cup of tea, although on my skin it does seem pretty close to the original, just......ruined. 😂
Interesting...just got a sample of this and wore it today. Told myself it was about a 6.5 rated fragrance. Decided to rewatch this video to see what you said about it, and you rated it the exact same score. I enjoyed wearing it, but I don't think I loved it enough to buy a bottle, cheap as it might be. Your review was spot on though.
Yeah I know what you mean, it took me years to even come around on it and now that I like it it’s great but I don’t think it’s the greatest barbershop scent ever and it does not last that long. If you ever do get a bottle get the smallest one lol
Nice one. Didn't realise this was released way back then. I learn something new every day lol. Still unsure if this would be for me. Anise takes time to love for me. What do you think of Guerlain? Have you reviewed any?
Hmm rive gauche does not have that super sharp opening like azzaro does but that’s just my personal experience with both of them, I’m glad I enjoy azzaro now though. Thank you for watching and commenting sir!
Hi there. Please I see reffilable and non-reffilable Azzaro pour homme bottles around. Azzaro pour homme edt 1978. Are they same? The juice inside? Is it the same quality of the scent or not? The reffilable bottle has plastic black cup on the top and non-reffilable has silver metal cup. Are there any differences in the quality? Best Cavella. I enjoyed very much in the Polo green, Yatagan.... Azzaro pour homme ..I missed . This week I will order it. With Azzaro I am watching Chanel antaeus. But I can see your review on Anteus. Maybe this year. What do you think about the reffilable and non-reffilable Azzaro pour homme bottles? Best Cavella
Interesting review. I probably will pass. I always thought One Man Show opening was harsh which I know you like, so this is probably in deep left field for me. Looking forward to a fall list from you bro. Be well sir.
Pretty much as you say, tried it 2 years ago, meh, Today after owning a few different frags and getting more able to recognize and appreciate different elements of a fragrance composition I'm liking more now, never tried rive gauche but it's reminds me more of the recent version of brut, and tabac, same nose I think? Mr wurtz, I suppose it's part of the journey, I've recently got bijan man, wow!, And r and g Open, also wow, who needs to spend 90 pounds on Dior sauvage when these smell so good for so little!
Oh yeah, Open is really good, might even be my signature scent, works in all settings and even when reapplied gets even better! Bijan man is like peanut butter and honey roasted on a wood fire covered in oakmoss, might have to put it on winter rotation! But what a scent!
In the opening I get scented wipes sprinkled with anise, black pepper, and other spices. It’s the dry down that makes it a keeper for me. It blends perfectly with my natural odor. At that point it’s sitting close to the skin but that works for it imo. Sillage > projection with this one. A close encounter scent moonlighting as a powerhouse.
Admittedly it took me a while to appreciate this one but once I revisited it I really grew to like it. The sharp opening was initially challenging but now among my favorite parts of the scent break down. Thank you for watching and commenting dude
Scent Remix it took me years to circle back to this one after I initially didn’t like it but I’m glad I’m enjoying it now, as far as barbershop scents go there are some better ones I agree
I`ve been waiting for this review, thanks! I`ve been owning Azzaro Pour Homme since two years now. You`re so right about the harsh opening, I find it more like heavy actually, but when it dries down it`s really good. I`m looking to buy a softer barbershop fragrance, maybe greener too, perhaps Rive Gauche or Paco Rabanne Pour Homme, as you seem to prefer those too.
Crazy Im sitting in the office at work wearing Azzaro Pour Homme L'eau love Azzaro Pour Homme original in 2013 I didn't understand it ... By 2015 I was hooked for life
@@ScentsOfSouthJersey can I suggests you use old spice original body wash with this it sounds weird I know but I use it for Paco Rabanne Pour Homme Azzaro Pour Homme Narciso Rodriguez for Him Duoro Eau de Portugal English Fern Paul Sebastian Giorgio Beverley Hills Grey Flannel Burberry Men Burberry Touch XS Paco Rabanne
I love the stuff. I used to drink in Al Pacino's dad's bar in California. It's like something I would have happily squirted on before going there (Zizanie de Fragonard was my signature scent at the time) Heavy anise/liquorice are my favourite notes in this fragrance. Longevity is quite good on my skin. 6-8 hours is the usual. This & Quorum have a lot in common. Both early eighties power fragrances with a bit of an aggressive macho vibe. I prefer either one to Drakkar Noir or most of those other scents of that time period
Bro I am glad you came around to this I feel like u wanted to give it a 7 /10 but haha I think overtime for the price this is sold is a must have in any gentlemen's collection .. I still have to pick up that Paco rabbanne pour homme I think I will pick it up tomorrow at my local store see what it's all about peace brother
XMr.Davis4 the scent on azzaro Pour Home really grew on me so I like it a lot and that’s what’s most important, it just didn’t last as long as I’d like. But just wait until you try Paco Rabanne Pour Homme...keep me posted on how you like it
@@ScentsOfSouthJersey as of right now yeah fragrancenet has 100ml for $17 bucks I believe, some people refer to it as the summer version of Rice Gauche. I think it smells great
@@ScentsOfSouthJersey yeah not bad recently picked up that & Eau De Rochas both smell and perform pretty great for citrus frags! I haven't tried the intense version but heard it was discontinued prices might be crazy
K Hayes yo so I just got L’eau in the mail today, found a 50ml on eBay for 10$ and like 3$ shipping it was the cheapest deal, stuff is great it’s like the anise was toned down a lot and they replaced it with a citrus kick but all the while smelling very similar to original pour Homme, great recommendation! Thank you again bro !
Hi there. I discovered your chanel few days ago. I I watch your videos. I would like to order Azzaro pour homme 1978. I don't like sweetness of the fragrances. Please tell me does Azzaro pour homme sweeter than Kouros, Zino Davidoff and Givenchy gentleman 1974? Or Paco rabanne pour homme??? Because I have Givenchy, Kouros and Zino. Can you compare the sweetness with Azzaro? Thank you Mister
It was a critical question for me. Thanks. I have been watched couple of times your video about Ralph Lauren polo green. And I ordered Polo. Few days ago. I would buy and Azzaro. Thanks
I order it my friend. Azzaro pour homme 200 ml. We will se. I am expecting delivery until the and off February. Now I am watching your videos about Hugo boss number one Lapidus pour homme and Paco rabanne pour homme. You say " It's sweet ". Are they...? Lapidus, Boss one and Paco? Do I order these fragrances? I have Givenchy gentleman 1974 Kouros and Zino Davidoff. They are beautiful fragrances. I like them. Do I make mistake with Lapidus, Boss and Paco? In the point of sweetness. Few days ago I have had Carolina Herrera vip 212 black, Invictus. I discovered that sweet fragrances are terrible for me. I have them. I watched your video about Bogart signature. I figured it is for my taste. No doubt. I am not sure for Paco, Lapidus and Boss one. Give me some advice. Best
You have to know what its about. Never take too much of it otherwise you will smell old because of the many ingredients. If you spray two times right out of shower, it will give you an ultimate freshness, that isnt reached by any other fragrance in my opinion. But dont put it on if youre not fresh, it wont work if you already sweated. And dont layer it, because the smell is going to be confusing when it is mixed with the first layer or your sweat.
@@ScentsOfSouthJersey My queen loves it & bought it for my birthday present next month. I smelled it & I really liked it too! The girl at Macy's laughed at me because I told her that I wear drakkar noir (belcam version) Currently using lomani pour homme because of your videos. It's nice.
You don't like Wanted by Night? I thought that might be up your alley. Maybe too fruity for you? It sprays like a bowl of fruity pebbles with spice. Once it mellows it's so loud and masculine. I really dig it.
Get Dua's clone of vintage Azzaro. That one's definitely on my radar.

I had it and sold it because the anis was too much. But as i kept the 10ml decant, i recently started sniffing it again and i will have to buy a bottle as i love it now..
Was gonna pick this one up, mainly cause of the anise note that other classic barber scents don't have. But if it's not even up there with PRPH which is in my top 3 signature scents, then why bother right? Wouldn't wanna buy a fragrance that takes me 3 years to finally like. If Paco Rabanne is ultimately better, then Azzarro Pour Homme to me, is completely redundant.
Ehh it’s Nice to have, like I mentioned in the video it grew on me a lot over time. It’s super cheap, maybe get a 50ml if anything lol thank you for watching and commenting dude
@@ScentsOfSouthJersey Your welcome Kelan. If you think its worth giving a try as much as I like PRPH and Bogart Ill try it. If it at least smells like licorice soap, and shaving foam I'll be happy. Those are the scents I like 👍 Thanks man

Just think Kelan, you could get all that juice I just mentioned above for a little over $100.👍
@@ScentsOfSouthJersey Oh, and your right about Azzarro Chrome. Has a blue mushy metal smell that I hate. I bought a 1 ounce bottle for $32, now I'm looking to give it away.

If there is one note on earth I cannot stand then it is anise 🤢🤮 That’s why I cannot stand Azzaro. However, the way rive gauche does the anise I like very much.
Looking forward to your next one, take care and stay safe and healthy! BR, Dan.
Don Dan haven’t heard from you in a while hope all is well! This one took years for me to like but I’m glad I revisited it
Scents Of South Jersey Hi Kelan, I‘m good, tanks.
It's totally worth it and it's not expensive
thanks for the info
how do you know for sure if its a vintage bottle though?
What a trip. I had a little decant of this-a dabber-around 1990, summer of. Couldn’t stop wearing it. But soon I found my stepdad’s bottle of Drakkar and it was pure love. After being given a bottle I never looked back. Time to revisit Azzaro. Thanks for a great review!

On the air, this classic perfume smells divine, masculine and sexy. Women love it on the air.💕💕💓💓
Ah man! Imagine wearing this one back in the late 70s. You'd get a hot chick with a thick bush for sure. Lmao! This one makes me feel like a 70s hitman
hey just got my Roger and Gallet open after seeing your review. can you tell me more about the tobacco note in it? it smells a bit oak mossy to me.
Lowcrbnaman well oakmoss is not listed as a note, I get heavy smokey scent mixed with tobacco
@@ScentsOfSouthJersey more like fourgier tobaccoy smell.
Azzaro Pour Homme or Drakker Noir ??? Which one to pick ! Anyone
Love this fragrance!
russtex it took a while to grow on me but I love it now
That’s a great line up you got going there ! Especially the polo
Azzaro Pour Homme is undeniably the absolute balls 💈🧼💪😎
One of the best masculine spicy fragrances way better than polo green strong at first but settles.
There is an Azzaro Visit that's a woody spicy, that's supposed to be pretty good for the fall season, at about $25 for 3.4
Azzaro pour Homme its an excelent fragance, but you have to get used to it, not many people like it for the first time, but when it nails you, WOW, it became one of your favorites for sure
I like Paul Sebastian as well but like you I definitely would not have when I was much younger. Definitely try azzaro pour Homme for sure !
Cheers 🇨🇦
Lance Hunter it has grown on me a lot. I had a feeling those flankers were not good lol
Marcelo Pagnussatt Kura I was interested in the intense version I just wouldn’t want it to be too boozy or sweet
@@ScentsOfSouthJersey On my skin its very boozy ,sweet but in a mature way like Opium Pour Homme.
Do women compliment this much
You need to give Chrome another chance lol
Dace Dark it’s so metallic I can’t do it lol plus I had a co worker years back who used to only wear chrome and I hated it and his cologne was ripped on to say the least 😂
Dude I love APH. I’m glad u revisited this especially with all the side products.
TheHonestjbone me too I am really liking it a lot when before I Swore I wouldn’t get it again, the side products are great for APH
Great review man
Also love the bottle i enjoy this perfume in fall, totally agree with you it is the best season to apply it.
I get average performance. Try to apply on your clothes it stays for the next day.
the fragranceholic fragholic I load up my wrists and shirt with it, I definitely notice a push with performance, thank you for watching and commenting dude!
That fragrance gives me a massive headache
Ahhh nice 😁 absolutely love the punch in the face of anise and caraway 👊👃 I have that version stashed away and cant remember what it performed like, but the vintage bottles I have seem to be a good 7hrs plus for me. Thanks for the review of this classic.
Jeremy Hinze 4.5-5 hours isn’t great but it’s so cheap and smells so good performance does not bother me as much with this one, don’t mind reapplying it, thanks for watching bro !
@@ScentsOfSouthJerseyabsolutely my pleasure 👍
Love this classic. Get terrific performance. This is my go to around the house scent.
Frank Katsaros I love the aftershave and edt combo, this one really grew on me for sure
😂😂👍🏻👍🏻 my thoughts exactly plus the power houses smell much better! Thank you for watching and commenting dude
It smells like empty bottle of Ouzo.
For my taste it's fantastic scent.
Yes. It's dated and much better than Paco Rabanne Pour Homme. Little better than Drakar Noir. The only vintage fragrance wich is better than Azzaro is Polo Green.
Best
Best
Ouzo lol the strong black licorice alcohol that’s funny you mentioned that
My boi! This is gonna be good lol. Hey I can’t like anything on IG lol they banned me
TheHonestjbone banned ? Why ?
Scents Of South Jersey lol idk, I can’t like comment or follow. Whatever haha.
Yes the azzaro pour Homme aftershave is great, I have the boss number 1 aftershave too but I have not used it yet lol.
I have my first bottle on the way
just blind ordered Bvlgari Black (1998) from ebay 40 dollars, because I think it will become more rare and therefore expensive. The one with the rubber tire note.
i liked bulgari pour homme
Rubie Mill
I had the exact same experience! Hated the harsh anise opening but loved the mid and base notes but I still planned to sell my bottle on eBay. Then I tried it one last time and I adjusted to the anise and plan to keep it. The performance on me is great especially on clothes, t- shirt was still at 50% full power by morning after spraying it at bed time. Plan to keep this baby !!
Have you tried the intense?
Have you sniffed vintage Azzaro? I find it quite a bit smoother and longer lasting. Enjoying your reviews.
I have yet to try the vintage I really want to though. Thank you for watching and commenting!
BRO MUNN the original is awesome and I just tried L’eau and that’s a nice citrus top note lighter summer version of the original
Thomas Jefferson thank you I was curious on intense
@Thomas Jefferson Quite right! It's the 2015 version. Not my cup of tea, although on my skin it does seem pretty close to the original, just......ruined. 😂
Paco Rabanne Pour Homme is similiar but wayyyy better . Highly recommend it . Old school
Frank Dagostino it’s so much better than azzaro, Paco is one of my all time favorites. Thank you for watching and commenting sir!
Gazza Be Thy Name I have vetiver and vetiver extreme but I have only mentioned them in a list not a full reviewer just yet
I personally believe that Azzaro pour homme is smoother than Rive Gauche. The anise note isnt as strong.
Azzaro
pour homme ..I missed . This week I will order it. With Azzaro I am watching Chanel antaeus. But I can see your review on Anteus. Maybe this year.
What do you think about the reffilable and non-reffilable Azzaro pour homme bottles? Best Cavella
They are the same fragrance just the bottle design is different that’s all. So you can. Order either one. Thank you for watching and commenting Zoran
Thank you Cavella. Best wishes
Interesting review. I probably will pass. I always thought One Man Show opening was harsh which I know you like, so this is probably in deep left field for me. Looking forward to a fall list from you bro. Be well sir.
Brett this one took me a long time to enjoy so I understand avoiding it for sure. The fall list is next !
Glad you like Open ! That one is really good. Thank you for watching and commenting Michael
Oh yeah, Open is really good, might even be my signature scent, works in all settings and even when reapplied gets even better! Bijan man is like peanut butter and honey roasted on a wood fire covered in oakmoss, might have to put it on winter rotation! But what a scent!
Have you tried the Intense version? I think you would really like it.
I have not tried that one yet ! Hard to find right ?
Hilarious! Like getting dragged over rocks versus Rive Gauche is gliding.
Lol with the anise note that was the best and first way to describe the difference that came to my mind
I really like APH, but as you say, I wish the performance was better. Great review.
Jean -Luc yeah it’s falls short there but I don’t mind reapplying since it smells so good and it’s cheap too, thank you for watching and commenting !
Im not a fan
Ocie Rapid
Recently grabbed another bottle and enjoy it still. There are some of that genre that I like a bit more, but it's a solid fragrance.
Muhammed Saed Paco Rabanne Pour Homme is still around so I’d say start with that, it’s one of the best barbershop scents ever!
I wanted but I'm in Morocco
No online ?

What's up bro wow I have not smelled this one in a while great preview bro right on it as always
It took me years to appreciate this one Im happy to have it now and really enjoy it, thank you for watching and commenting bro!
Like it but the Intense is what I always reach for.
never tried that one, still being made ?
Bro I am glad you came around to this I feel like u wanted to give it a 7 /10 but haha I think overtime for the price this is sold is a must have in any gentlemen's collection .. I still have to pick up that Paco rabbanne pour homme I think I will pick it up tomorrow at my local store see what it's all about peace brother
XMr.Davis4 the scent on azzaro Pour Home really grew on me so I like it a lot and that’s what’s most important, it just didn’t last as long as I’d like. But just wait until you try Paco Rabanne Pour Homme...keep me posted on how you like it
@@ScentsOfSouthJersey will do brother
You should try Azzaro Pour Homme L'eau it's a lighter more citrus heavy version smells great
K Hayes still being made ?
@@ScentsOfSouthJersey as of right now yeah fragrancenet has 100ml for $17 bucks I believe, some people refer to it as the summer version of Rice Gauche. I think it smells great
K Hayes well that does sound very interesting, I will check that out, how is the intense version ? Have you tried that one

Azzaro is not sweet at all so it’s a safe buy if you do not like sweet scents
It was a critical question for me.
Thanks.
I have been watched couple of times your video about Ralph Lauren polo green. And I ordered Polo.
Few days ago.
I would buy and Azzaro.

Now I am watching your videos about Hugo boss number one
Lapidus pour homme

Are they...?
Lapidus, Boss one and Paco?
Do I order these fragrances?
I have Givenchy gentleman 1974
Kouros and Zino Davidoff.
Best
I have Visit, and like that one a lot
oswjim it’s really grown on me I plan to use it a lot this fall season
You have to know what its about. Never take too much of it otherwise you will smell old because of the many ingredients. If you spray two times right out of shower, it will give you an ultimate freshness, that isnt reached by any other fragrance in my opinion. But dont put it on if youre not fresh, it wont work if you already sweated. And dont layer it, because the smell is going to be confusing when it is mixed with the first layer or your sweat.
What are your thoughts/review on Azzaro by night?
You know I do not own that one so I’m not sure, all I have is Pour Homme and pour Homme leau
@@ScentsOfSouthJersey
My queen loves it & bought it for my birthday present next month.
I smelled it & I really liked it too!
The girl at Macy's laughed at me because I told her that I wear drakkar noir (belcam version)
Currently using lomani pour homme because of your videos.
It's nice.
how do you find this compares to the Paco Rabane Pour Homme in the green bottle? I've read they are very similar.
Chrome was garbage?
I hate it
Wild mint sounds interesting. Mint and patchouli. I could dig it.
I have this and trust women love it they say it smells muscular although it lasts less
Great video bro
Fragrance Anatomy glad you enjoyed, thank you for watching and commenting dude !
