    Hi Dana! I’ve been struggling with my curls lately and find myself constantly comparing myself to you because I think you just have the most beautiful hair on earth. But.. I’m working on loving the hair that I have and your channel has helped me tremendously (especially hearing that you struggle with self confidence and comparing as well). You’re my favorite curly hair UA-camr- thank you ❤️

    Hey thank you for clarification on a few things that have really been bugging me lately. This video has really helped and you are inspiring 🤗 I think we are totally made unique. Your hair is similar to how mine was many years ago. I'm going through the transition now and growth. Cannot wait to have long curly hair!

    Our Hair is so Similar and I’m so glad I found your Channel! I notice in a lot of vids you mentioned you struggled with an itchy scalp.Right now thats my biggest issue.I’ve tried ACV rinses and they work but are a huge hassle and strip my hair of moisture.I always dread doing them.Is There anything you find that really helps? I just bought build up buster from DC hoping it might help with flakes.I need some Holy Grail products 😂

    a larger amount of hair fall can sometimes also be a sign that you may be anemic or have an iron deficiency so seeing a doctor/taking iron supplements could help reduce that :)

    I have the same problem of not drinking water, like ever 😂 I just don’t get thirsty! Sometimes I don’t realize how dehydrated I am until I wake up and can hardly move I’m so sore- that’s how bad it is. If I drink a bottle a day I’m proud of myself lmao, I wish I could fix this 😩

    • @leannemuller9344

      @@KatieDepriest maybe ask a doctor then. Otherwise drink regardless of how you feel. Lucky you though. Ever since I was pregnant 26 years ago Ive had urinary tract infections if I don't stay hydrated. When I was younger and in school I didn't drink much water. All it took was one infection when I was camping while newly pregnant and it's plagued me ever since. Maybe now I panic drink but 2 of my 3 daughter's have had them now too so it's serious. They haven't been pregnant. But they also don't remember to drink. Now I do what mum's tend to do. Got a headache? Drink water!!

    Anyone know what exactly damages your hair. I was born with curly hair but it has gotten very frizzy and more wavy over the years. I think it is damaged but I can’t tell. I really want my hair to go back to its natural state, but I’m not sure what it is. I hope you can help me. By the way I straightened my hair, but not often so I don’t know if my hair is heat damaged. I also brushed my hair daily, but I don’t know how damaging that is either. Thanks
    Another Edit: I also dried my hair on high heat and my stylist always blow dried my hair and then straightened it ( again in high heat ) I don’t know what I was thinking. Thanks for the 3rd time Lol

    • @DanaGagliotti
      @DanaGagliotti  5 років тому

      well, the most notorious culprits are bleach and heat styling. But it could also be that your hair texture has changed. If your hair is feeling really dry and you have split ends it could be damaged. What products are you currently using and how do you style your hair?

    • @ashleyhumann8094
      @ashleyhumann8094 5 років тому

      First of all thanks for helping!
      You always respond to comments and are super nice!
      My hair is pretty dry and I definitely have spilt ends; I just don’t know what I did wrong. 😂 I typically keep my hair down unless I’m doing a very intense workout, which is never. And I’m using shea moisture’s 100% virgin coconut oil shampoo and conditioner and devacurl’s styling cream because my hair is super thick even though it is only a 2b or 2c wave. I also plop for about a hour or 30 minutes and diffuses for like 4 minutes if it makes a difference. Thanks for the help!
      Edit: I never used heat because my hair is a pretty light color ( somewhere between brown and blonde ) but I did experiment with semi permanent hair colors and I guess that probably damaged it some
      Thanks again

      I know and you might cry after too
      😂 The first day you are crying and then the next day you love it. It is so odd how people are so emotional about hair. Even if you regret it in a year or two your hair will be just as long ( depending on how long your hair grows ) ( mine grows super fast ) so don’t be scared

    I don’t even know how I got here. But since a lot of people are not deep conditioning. Just use a deep conditioner as your normal conditioner and if it is to heavy one day just don’t let us soak in as long.
