Me and three of my children are homeless/living in a minivan. Loneliness, depression is always there. No one cares or really wants to help us. Most have an excuse, others would rather blame/point fingers, while some prefer to watch our suffering. It's sad how selfish people really are, and this goes for relatives too. We were thrown out by a Narcissistic relative. We sleep at a gas station every night that is literally right down the road from them. My oldest daughter is there, but she doesn't care. My oldest son lives out of town, and he doesn't care either. My youngest son is with us, and doing the best he can to provide/protect. I pray that he will be blessed, and be able to have a better life. He will be 19 in a few months. 😢

It's incredibly disheartening when the people closest to you show their true colours when you're in a downward spiral. this happened to me some years ago when I was young. Our of sheer helplessness, I walked up to a stranger and asked for help. She helped and became my friend. When I was still struggling some time later, a total stranger showed up at my door because my dog got out and brought her to me. She turned out to be an angel come to help me through my suffering. We cannot always rely on family or friends, but I promise you there are good people out there if you keep yourself open to them. They might not look like the kind of people you need, but you would be surprised. The kindest people are usually the ones who have truly suffered and they look it. And we do need each other to survive. It's just that most people don't realise it until they've already lost everything. I hope someone helps you out and in the meantime, keep doing the next right thing and eventually you will come out of this and begin to heal. You're in my prayers tonight.

Being alone sucks spent most of my life alone on purpose cause of my profession quit that line of work (I knew and was around people all the time,but still alone). Now 13 & 6 yr old stepdaughter and a 6 month old daughter not alone anymore and am happy and loved.

I know it’s a bit different, but I just recently lost my father. Someone who I feel like the word live isn’t enough To describe how I felt towards him. I knew losing a parent would be tough, but I literally feel like a piece of me fired with him. On the flip side my sister just gave birth to my first nephew. I made a commitment to myself to be as good as an uncle to my nephew as my father was to me, his son.
