Looking forward to getting my preorder of the boot only with the Intuition liners. Wanted a sort of hybrid freestyle aggressive skate for some big wheel shenanigans and it looks spot on.
Intuition liner alone is around £180 just under so not much more you get a skate with it. I think if anyone is after an intuition liner should buy this skate if they don't like the boot for whatever reason sell the shell (someone with an intuition liner might want the shell) then they have pretty much just got a cheap intuition liner. Mind blowing really!
I received my pair just before christmas but have already returned them (shops here in germany already had them in stock). I already own Seba CJ2 Prime skates and thought of swapping liners as you suggested but it didn't work out for me. I had ordered them in size EU40. They come with a 26cm intuition liner which perfectly matches my CJ2 shell sized EU40. But the plastic shell of the FR is pretty narrow for my average sized feet. Even with the slimmer SEBA liners it was just too narrow. The FRs come with a crazy slim shell (length is ok, but width is really on the edge). Not mentioned by Locoskate: The FR boot itself has some cost savings in order to compensate the intuition liner costs - just a cheap plastic buckle and bare plastic at the UFS mount points.
They're good liners, but lower quality than the other two Intuitions I've used (THEM Danny Beers & Wizard 3M) I've only used them for a few months and the internal lining has sagged and ripped at the heel. Still feel great and doesn't affect performance, just surprising. They're also much softer than the other two I've used which tbf is quite nice for aggressive.
I'd like to buy the intuition version. My normal size is EU39. Foot length is 24.5. According to the chart I should have 39-40. Do I need to downside to 37-38? Or just pick the right size? Greetings from China.
Solid review as always BUT I wish you would have talked about the bottom of the skate more and about the options of using it without the Soulplate with a big wheel frame like the rest of the UFR line.

@@jasoncalva Awesome. So you'll want the UK6.5/US7.5 FR shell (it's a unique shell size, not shared). So buy the cheaper boot with the stock liner in a size UK6.5 then throw your current Intuition liner in there. Will feel like a UK7/US8

You guys think a size 9 Reign liners would work in a 7-8 shell skate ? That’s what I am currently rocking with a Razors SL. Gonna order them next month but need to make sure about the sizing.

@@harry_abel nice. i have a NR100 from you guys which i intend to use on this boot without the plate, for urban skating mostly, so i'm really curious how it's going to look, since the boot has what looks like the FR1 "anatomical cutout" in the bottom, unlike the SEBA boots (which have a flat bottom). bummer i can't fit into the wizard boot properly. that's why i was looking for a picture of those 2 combined :)
@@harry_abel yeah that's what i'm worried about too. i already have an FR1 with endless 100, so i might just stick to that in the end. procuring a wizard boot is really expensive and when you find out you can't fit into it is really frustrating. maybe i'll also wait for a new batch of size 44 CJ2 primes, which should fit the V2 liner.
Antony Pottier is wildly underrated. I have tried to get him on Platform a number of times and he just blanks my messages! Haha!

I don't have the numbers but my UFR intuition in a US 13-14 size is lighter than my size 11-12 Aeons.

The FR Intuition liner is not identical to the separately sold liner but still the value is crazy.

@@awiemuc I also just received the 40, and it was very narrow. But if you remove the foam footbed, and the side sliders you will get more room
