My friend has had the hardest time finding a skate that fits his size 14-15 US. Adapt goes up to size 13 but since they're handmade hopefully he'll have some luck finally. This could be an answer for the big feet people. Thank you for making this.
I’m a legit 14 extra wide and they had no problem accommodating me… the only issue is his feet (and mine) are longer than a standard sheet of paper so getting them an accurate outline gets a little tricky when your splitting pieces of paper or drawing on an insole then measuring for them… I really wish they had a simpler system because I’ve heard of quite a few people that got burned by the sizing practice
Don't know if you know it but it's worth mentioning that you can slap the soulplates from the left to the right boot and otherwise. So if your plate on one side is worn out, just switch it to the other side. They're designed for that. ✌️ Enjoy this brilliant dutch product 🔥❤️
OMG that last shot, drip drip! Not bought any new NEW skates since getting back into skating beside buying older models. My last was a carbon skate, amazing. This time I could have any colour, and fit my size 4 uk feet... great review
Loved this. Nice to see someone of my vintage still skating lol I’m going to bust out my Razors Alex burstons this summer for the first time in years. Can’t wait now.
I can hear the excitement in your voice trying these! I wanted to order some of these, but just couldn’t justify the price for how often I get a chance to skate these days. Looking forward to you trying big wheels. You need to team up with Bill Stoppard. :)
If Royales feel just the same though, it'll be interesting to see if the softer material actually makes these a better skate. I look forward to the final thoughts!
Great vid as always ! Got my Brutale the next day you unboxed yours ! Got some pretty bad pressure points on the inside ankle bones; as you don't seem to point out anything in your initial review, did you heatmold before that first try ? Had your Stealth taken some breaking in time ? Thanks and looking forward to that 1 months review to compare!
Good luck with the big wheel skating. I bought the adapts specifically for a big wheel setup and found that I couldn't actually get enough ankle support :( I started wringing out my sweat saver liner in the front so I don't accidently drip all over stuff but at least they live up to their name hehe.
Try skipping the middle lace hole in the top. And tighten the laces and strap just to the point of resistance. That’s what felt best for me. And as they break in you can go tighter
First of all - great video and first impressions as always! I have been waiting for a long time for you to get some newer adapts and Review them! Also, i see you have „new“ wristguards! What happened to your favorite Ennui’s? But please please please get to the FR UFR AP Pro Skate Review! You have had those longer then the adapts or the factions Skates and we are waiting for your first impressions and verdict on those! Please don’t leave us high and dry like that! 😉👊✌️
I thought I lost them, they were buried in my trunk. Had to use these RB ones which were ok. I don’t think I’ll review the UFR, maybe with a big wheel setup but not aggressive
These would be a dream for me. I have such wide feet, and I’ve owned so many pairs of skates since I started skating in 92, and none of them have been comfortable. They all hurt. I recently bought some USDs and as I always have to do, I heat-molded them to fit a bit better, but they still hurt. This would be incredible.
I use to skate 10 years ago and 'm trying to get back at it, i'm planning to get these brutale boot and put my Kizer Trimax 3 x 110 mm, do you think they'll make a good job or do you know something else to recommand me please ? I just find your channel and i loved your video !
@@BacktoBlading the last skate i bought were my loved salomon ST8 in brown colorway so since i'm totally lost on whats on the market what would you go for mostly city street jump stairs things like that no skate park?
@@kennethpogue718 I won't, I already bought them and got them setup, dremmeled out for the oysi frames, aeon basic liner and dead shock absorbers. But I still think I like my aeons and carbon frees better
Ya bro that’s why a lot of skaters don’t buy them an they are not 400$ the real prize for them it’s a bout 560$ whit out frames an they are not returning them at all so if ur foot don’t fit right u screwed LOL ,I still skate but my son wanted to skateboard 🛹 so I decided to buy one also it’s hard but I love it bc it brings me back feeling like a child to learn new sport it’s fun an cheaper

@@Frmrspecialist74thanks for the info. That's great news! I'll pass it on.
Best skates on the market hands down, I'm skating a pair of 2020 brutales with prime frames and they are easily the best setup I've ever had!
Sick!! Thanks for the review, excited to try these out someday. 👍👍
When you do I can’t wait to see a comparison iqon vs adapt oooooo!
loved this especially the little blooper cap dribble at the end!

Burston is the man, I love watching him skate! So steezy
Black prime frame with silver axles is what i did on my carbons. looks so sick with white wheels and black boot. Awesome review as always Law.
Also gotta say those park upgrades look like a massive improvement for the whole space, awesome.

I haven’t noticed any pressure points and didn’t heat mold. Maybe I got lucky with my feet? Maybe try heat molding yours, might help

I think so too, but I gotta try. Hard to beat a dedicated big wheel boot

I got last years model, I wonder how much or a difference that liner add on they did for 2022. I hope they sell them separately eventually
They will but won't work on the older models according to adapt. As I asked them
I need a pair 🔥🔥🔥🔥
When are we going to get that UFR review :)
Hah, maybe someday
Put some wizards on those adapts
Very different first impression than Brandon Drummond!
How are they compared the 2003 Graal?
The end 😂😂😂
I have a question about the ankle padding, would it work in the 2021 version of the boot?
Probably if you gutted the boots, and added some Velcro. I would send them a message first though if I were tou

Stealthy looking skates.
Do you know how much they weigh?
I’ll weigh them tomorrow night on gear talk for you

Skateboarder asking here, why are they called soul grinds and not sole grinds?
It’s a play on the word, and I think when it was created they were big on that sorta thing
Cuz they're good for the soul!
That ender 🤣

Beautiful skates. I'd trade my aeon 60s and 909s for a pair
