You Sir...... you are by far the most informative, honest and fucking funniest dudes on here! You have made me laugh, scratch my head and rethink the shit gone wrong with my builds and for that I THANK YOU!!!!!
Thing is runnin strong and it’s just the start... and just like I’ve told everyone.. those 7.5 rear ends can take some hell when they’re beefed up a bit.. I’m sure u see that urself.. keep on rollin 🤘🏼
I always bend the tab little bit take it a little farther than I think it needs to be and easier to come back it most of the screws are stuck so I don't even try normally small adjustment with pliers works really well but glad you got it free
Yea brother this videos a year old. You should check out some of the newer ones. I lost a few months to Covid but we’ve made more changes and getting her dialed in even more now. 🤘
That throttle body set screw is a pain! I tried everything I could think of to get it freed up and after 4 different T15 bits I decided as a quick fix to just drill and tap it out and ran a machine screw all the way through the TB. It’s been working out ok, but plan on upgrading it with a War performance TB soon. Is there a particular reason you used the banjo fittings? Why not just used a 45 AN fitting? How much KPA was the MAP reading on your pulls? Great video, looked like y’all was having a blast. When you get all the bugs fixed that thing is gonna be a animal.
Brother!!! I’ve got a BMW 550i gt, this unit is factory twin turbo, so far has catless down pipes, dual aftermarket intakes, resonators deleted, factory muffs, JB4 tuner “that I can fully tune”. Looking at nitrous and was curious from the king! Do a dual wet kit vs a single wet kit at the 2-1 intake/ throttle body. I’d like more so reliably and ease of tuning as this is my first tunable unit. I’m at 12.5’s +- and I’d like to hop into the 11.5 bracket. Also meth in the near future. Thanks for your thoughts man!!!
@@BadLuckGarage I’m having oil leak issues as well...my dodgy oil return and feed fittings at the sump dammit lol. Not looking foward to pulling the pan to fix.
With the frozen set screw, can you just drill out the bleed hole in the butterfly slightly? Id say get the boost gauge reading figured out first. Everything else is just guess work until you know what boost its making. Maybe also get readings from a couple of different places so that if you have a loss somewhere, it could help identify where the loss is coming from?
I took the TB off and freed up the screw today so should be able to dial the idle back in now. Definitely need to verify the MAP readings before I do anymore tuning though.
I’ve got a single 44mm gate w/ 4# spring, if I unhook the reference line it will easily “Triple” the spring making 12.5# boost! We didn’t expect that 😳
I don’t know that for sure. Matter of fact I’ve been doubting my MAP scaling even before the turbos as it seemed to idle very low in the fuel and spark tables. I’m running a no-name 3bar gm style sensor so I never really had the proper scaling for it to begin with.
If the set screw won't budge, just drill a small hole in the blade. I normally start with a 1/16th or so bit and go up from there until it's good. You can also enlarge the hole that's already (normally) there. Air bypassing the blade is air bypassing the blade lol
I had the same thing with my coolant cap last year an I never found any issues with head gasket but my radiator was a little to low in the car and I never really got it to completely burp all the air out.
Checkout the Chaos Theory playlist for more details. Everything we’ve done is covered in the videos. TH350, Holeshot nitrous converter, 26” tire, 3.23 gear.
Right now it’s a 3.23 with 26” radial. When the 9” goes in it’ll be 3.50 and I’ll be switching to a 28” radial to keep the same overall ratio. The idea is to have it geared to run around 165@7,000rpm.

Use an Aluminum washer with the rubber o-ring made on it. Diesel fuel lines are made with them. I have had good luck with them.
