Sir i think the rna polymerase is a holoenzyme and it consist of alpha, beta, omega and sigma subunits. The alpha ,beta and omega make a close association and known as core enzyme where as the sigma factor bind to the association. So i just want to say that the whole enzyme bind to promoter at a time , as u said that sigma factor comes later to join the polymerase is not true.
Also after the formation of 8 to 9 rna nucleotide chain the sigma factor removes

Sir in prokaryotes there is only one rna polymerase.. why u tlkd about rna pol II during the video.
There are 3
There are near about 3 rna polymerase ranging from 1 to 3 out of which rna polymerase 2 has role in prokaryotic but only one enzyme is involved in prokaryotic it is just termed as rna polymerase
