Nice to see Exodus back up in the top flight, however, tune selection will be their downfall this year. Although Tourist Leggo is a nice song, the foreign aspects of the song could be a problem. Renegades were smart to choose a familiar song and not only that, it’s appropriate for the occasion of celebrating the legacy of Black Stalin. This year bands had an opportunity to really shine the light on our artists like the late Shadow, Explainer, Black Stalin, and Blaxx. Some bands chose intelligently while others went a very obscure route…Case in point All-Stars.
They deserve to be in the top 3 finishers, period! Job well done.
