The Lonely Island songs were originally Digital Shorts for Saturday Night Live. Andy Samberg was a cast member and the other guys were writers. So they often did the songs with the show’s musical guests. The Justin Timberlake trilogy (D*ck in a Box, Mothelover, and 3-way (the Golden Rule); I Just Had Sex with Akon; and Shy Ronnie and Shy Ronnie 2 (Ronnie and Clyde) with Rihanna are all worth doing reactions. I also love Two Worlds Collide (Reba), but that should be done after the others.
They just dropped a new one on SNL after years of being gone. You have to check it out, it’s called “Sushi Glory Hole.” The track is so fire I’ve listened to it everyday since it came out.
