  • This customer was certain it was a faulty CPS. Wouldn't let me help him with it either. So, we got it back and tested the claim!

    I can attest that when I had the same issue - you guys walked me through the proper setting of the hard stop and gave me a few other tips and everything worked perfectly. On SRPs my SD is close to 0.

    That’s nice of you Greg! I was going to ask about that tool!

    That's a neat primer depth tool, I'm sure that will be a hot seller. Hopefully it will take off faster than the CPS for you.
    Unfortunately a lot of companies get bad reputations now a days because people don't read the owners manuals to learn how to use something correctly. How many posts about someone not knowing their zero stop on their new scope was set.
    I use to work for a place that would stick $100 bills in owners manuals, or vouchers for branded jackets, hoodies, or other things. Not many were ever claimed.

      Jesus christ! I'm fortunate to live close to midsouth shooters supply and I walk in and backorder stuff in person and get it within 2 months. I've ordered over 400 pieces of 300 and 6.5 prc and have had them all for a while. Keep your head up!

    Love my cps! I primed with a bunch of tools, I wouldn’t take any thing else but my cps. Buy American made goods.

    Probably his rim thickness variation could be the problem and not the tool.

    • @primalrights
      @primalrights  2 роки тому

      No, that isn't the issue. The issue was operator error. Read the other comments.

    • @54Mizery

      @@primalrights I only mentioned it because I have some Hornady brass that has rim thickness variation of .004". Any priming system that is supported by the inside of the rim when seating will transfer that variation to the below cartridge base primer measurement.

    • @primalrights
      @primalrights  2 роки тому

      @@54Mizery Have you measured the top of the rim to the bottom of the primer pocket to confirm what you're saying is actually true?

    • @54Mizery
      @54Mizery 2 роки тому

      @@primalrights The rim thickness varies but the primer pockets are acceptably consistent.

    This CPS is now my most valued tool on my bench and it changed my reloading life. Just a rock solid , fast accurate tool that makes priming fun and not a big headache. This CPS is life changing. I can relax, take my time and prime hundreds an hour. Thank you Primal rights.
