I don’t think it really matters where a prospect ranks in a certain teams system. Some teams don’t even have a single prospect in the top 100, while others have 5-6. For example, the O’s #4 prospect is ranked higher than most teams #1 prospect.
Also that list of hundred best prospects is just for the fans. It isn’t how organizations see these players. They have their own ideas of who they like and who they think will play well in their system.
@@DavidBrielmaier maybe if they were in the NL way to many teams ahead of them in the AL. There are only three teams below them and they are only 1 game in front of the LAA.
@@brandondillman5841 they were not going to get another epic year out of Seager and Garcia so some regression should have been expected. You got two rookies slated to eat up most of your innings in your outfield. Garver also had a resurgent year at DH and that production is gone although probably for the better bc he’s been pretty bad in SEA. I just can’t seem them trading for anyone bc they aren’t one piece away and they just won the series last year.
I believe the Pirates can and it would make sense to maybe trade a guy like Chapman yet also buy a player or two who can help the team for this season and next. Cherington should probably be fired or on the extreme hot seat if the team struggles in the second half.

Lately I’ve been wanting to see the Cubs trade for tyler soderstrom. Maybe trade Alexander Canario and one or two lower prospects for him.
