Hi there when i saw what you busy with i didnt even think twice to subscribe😎.Busy with my own in South Africa vut you dont get them by us so im building one from bits i have no measurements at all .Its all out of the head.Crazy i know but please if you have time check it out.And yours looks abselutely stunning great job.😎😎
Killer stuff my man🤘if it were me, I would do a plexiglass window on the floor for viewing of the engine 👍feel free to show some of your other projects that you have going on especially, that sick 71' F350 in your shop🤣
These cabovers are super cool. I wish there were still more of them around. I have a 50 Ford F1 (Edna) I think it would be cool to have cabover the same year
Just started my own coe project, 54 Chevy. Great job , very detailed work. Any chance you have the parts info on your lower control arms. You look very strong, I’d like to get some for mine, any info you have on them would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time.
Got the wheels from LowboyMotorsports in Az. They’re originally 24.5 semi wheels that have been milled to accept a normal auto 24” tire. The tires are ebay specials. Lion hart brand. Thanks
From 1962-72 Chevy truck frames are pretty much the same. They have either Leif springs or coil spring's and a few other changes but the frames are all the same. I owned a 1972 suburban and when getting parts for it is how I found out from climbing under a lot of those year's of truck's suburbans, the blazer frame is the only one that is really shorter than a short bed truck.
Put a box unless your going to make it a hauler then goose neck for what ever your going to pull. Nice build 👍🏽 I'm like those builds check out "Bello's Kustom" he's building one right now he using a heavy duty chassis so what ever it will be used for will be able to haul some weight.
I'll probably get a bunch of flak for this comment but, 99% of builds take the easy way out and put a SBC engine. You're building a unique piece of custom art, should have put a Power Stroke diesel in a Cab Over Ford. anyone and everyone does SBC. Be the one that everyone says "Now that's different!"
I actually appreciate this comment! I sometimes do agree with a SBC or LS, blah. But for me personally, this being my truck and not a customers, it’s about budget. I had the SBC sitting idle so I said, I’ll use that. Also, it’s about floor and firewall clearance because unlike so many others, I’m actually putting the “CAB OVER ENGINE”. so many put it behind. I have a very unique engine build coming up for another truck, so stick around and I promise you won’t be dissatisfied!!! 😬
I’d like to see more ford power train used instead so much Chevy product’s used, Chevy stuff is used way to much on car projects I’m just so tired of seeing that all the time
Undoubtedly, unprecedented restoration. Well done.
That baby is low and still has great ground clearance, beautiful truck.
It would lay on the ground if I was running 22”s!! Thanks!
This is the best built COE I have seen yet. Keep up the postings. One cool truck !
hell yea love the old ford COE's, definitely on my bucket list. Awesome work dude...
Thanks brother! Love the Metro build also!! 😎👍🏻

When will you be posting more videos of this beast?! Building myself a 52 ford COE hopefully it’ll be as nice as this one.
Glad to hear you're not going to craft her into a flatbed, a dually bed always look sharp. Fine lookin' COE!
GREAT JOB!

Where did you buy the wheels and tires from and what size are they thanks

What did you end up doing for steering column/u-joints to connect to the box?
I would like to know who did you order the c20 two inch dropped spindle from.
Switch suspension.
@@bluecollarrodshop4038 thank you for the info sir I really appreciate.
Are u using the stock chassi?
How did u get that rusted color looking like that
I plan to do a video on that really soon. How to make/blend patina and how to make rust that doesn’t rust! 😜

Something about building cab overs is way too cool. For school
Any more updates on the coe.
Hoping to upload an update video soon, been busy with customer cars and just now getting caught up.
Looking good
Nice what did you use for undercoating?
U-POL RAPTOR LINER
Nice thanks, did you just sand it and applied it or you painted it then applied it?
@@casanovasprojectcars it was completely blasted, primed, painted, and then coated.
Okay thanks a lot for the advice 👌🏼
Chulada de Fierro felicidades por hermoso proyecto desde México
Would a late model ram dually bed fit?
What tires are you running? Did you turn down the 22.5 to 22? Any info on that?
I’m running Lionhart 305/35/R24XL, and yes the wheels are milled down to accept regular passenger car tires.

Like how much money does it cost to rebuild a coe truck? Thanks..
That’s a pretty broad question, depending on options and how much you’re able to do yourself. I’d say anywhere between 50-100k$
@@bluecollarrodshop4038 if I can get a coe truck you think you can rebuild it for me?
@@erickrodriguez0403 ABSOLUTELY!!!

THese don't quite fit the COE definition for me...
It's a half breed that instantly turned me off what a shame.
Just build a truck bed
