My 1993 Squier was made in the Fugigen factory! It's very resonant and well made :)
I’m buying this. Love FGN.
that backing track reminds me of the introduction of the gibson les paul 70's tribute guitar.
that's why i bought it and i do not regret it.
Thank you for the John Abercrombie tone (modern jazz).
When's the demo coming with their super strat with a floyd? Lovely demo Mark as always :)
From the headstock down it looks exactly like my Gibson midtown custom haha !
nice steely dan nod in the intro haha
The guitar sounds REALLY bright is that the amp or nature the guitar ? Just doesn't have that woody warmth of a 335 style. It sure is beautiful though. What is the price range on this one ?
I believe from what I saw on a Japanese video of these guitars, the body is a single piece of wood and the sound chambers are carved out of it. So while it retains the looks of a 335-style guitar, it's completely different and perhaps more closely resembles a solid-body guitar in tone than a tradition semi-acoustic. Hope that explains it :-)
alecboyyes I was a little incorrect in my previous post, appears the top and back are separate pieces of wood it's the bit sandwiched in between them, i.e. the centre block and sound holes that are one piece of wood, but you get the idea.
It dies sound a little Gretsch- ie.
Yeah, this guitar is bright in all the videos. Some of it must be clarity.
Why are FGN guitars no longer available in the US?
asmr
What wood is the fretboard?
African Ebony according to company site.
It sounds great, and for under $2000USD, hard to imagine why you would spend $1000 more on the equivalent Gibson.
resale value :/
Love the demos guys! Just stop using that awful Mesa 😆 -Peace and love
